Kitty arrived after a long journey from southern Italy, where she was rescued from the streets and an uncertain future. Having tested positive for FELV, she couldn’t remain in the colony where she’d been living, nor could she spend her entire life in a cage. Unfortunately, the volunteers in Bari were unable to find a permanent home for her, so they reached out to us. At the moment, Kitty is living with Ringo inside the association’s premises. Kitty is well-suited to apartment living; we’re looking for a loving family for her—a responsible adoption by trustworthy individuals who are willing to arrange regular veterinary check-ups. Even though she’s currently asymptomatic, unfortunately FELV is a feline disease that needs to be closely monitored (read our dedicated article to learn more).
