Kitty arrived after a long journey from southern Italy, where she was rescued from the streets and an uncertain future. Having tested positive for FELV, she couldn’t remain in the colony where she’d been living, nor could she spend her entire life in a cage. Unfortunately, the volunteers in Bari were unable to find a permanent home for her, so they reached out to us. At the moment, Kitty is living with Ringo inside the association’s premises. Kitty is well-suited to apartment living; we’re looking for a loving family for her—a responsible adoption by trustworthy individuals who are willing to arrange regular veterinary check-ups. Even though she’s currently asymptomatic, unfortunately FELV is a feline disease that needs to be closely monitored (read our dedicated article to learn more). Kitty è arrivata dopo un lungo viaggio dal sud Italia dove è stata salvata dalle strade e da un futuro incerto; essendo risultata felv+ non poteva rimanere nella colonia dove viveva e nemmeno restare in gabbia a vita, purtroppo i volontari di Bari non sono riusciti a trovarle una casa che la potesse accogliere, così ci hanno contattato. Al momento Kitty vive con Ringo all’interno dei locali dell’associazione. Kitty è adatta a vivere in appartamento, cerchiamo per lei una famiglia, un’ adozione consapevole con persone affidabili e disponibili a fare controlli veterinari puntuali, anche se è asintomatica, purtroppo la felv è una malattia felina da tenere monitorata (leggi il nostro articolo dedicato per saperne di piu’.
