Meet Baba – a Tiny Dog with a Big Personality Baba is a 10-year-old Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkshire Terrier cross) who came into Islay Rescue due to a change in his family's circumstances. Weighing just 3kg, he may be tiny, but he has plenty of character packed into that little frame. Baba also has patella luxation in his rear legs, a common condition in small breeds. This occasionally causes him to hop or hold a leg up, but he is not in pain and it does not affect his quality of life. He requires no medication or treatment, although maintaining a healthy weight is important to avoid aggravating the condition. He is missing a few teeth, but has no ongoing dental issues or special care requirements. Despite his quirks, Baba is an affectionate little gentleman with an adorable "grumpy old man" personality. He loves greeting his people in the morning, enjoys cuddles and attention, and is always happy to join you for a nice walk. He walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys getting out and about. Baba currently lives with both dogs and cats in foster care and gets along well with them. He travels well in the car and is fully house-trained.
