Som med alle smådyr vil kaniner måtte bo trygt og unngå andre dyr i hjemmet. Alle våre enkelte kaniner venter på å bli sammen med eiet dyr. Vennligst søk bare om dem hvis du allerede har en kanin som søker etter en ny venn. Hvis du ikke har noen kaniner i din omsorg nå og ønsker å oppsøke, sjekk par/grupper vi har tilgjengelig. Kaniner elsker menneskesamfunn og kan bli veldig kjærlige og elske å få smakfulle friske grønnsaker fra hendene dine. Kaniner elsker ikke å bli håndtert og de finner store lyder og plutselige bevegelser skremmende, så de er ofte passende for familier med litt eldre barn. Bugsy vil ikke ta lang tid å bli i sin nye bolig, og han vil vise deg hans fantastiske personlighet fra starten! Kaniner trenger mye plass for å holde seg raske, sunde og glade, den ideelle utendørs bosted for et par skal bestå av enten et skap/vennhytte eller en 1,8 m (6 fot) høy enkel nisse, koblet til en løpeplass på 3 m lang, 2 m bred og 1 m høy.

Yes Additional information As with all small pets, rabbits will need to be housed securely away from any other pets in the home. All of our single rabbits are waiting to mix with owned pets. Please only apply for them if you already have a rabbit who is in search of a new friend. If you currently do not have any rabbits in your care and would like to rehome, please check the pairs/groups we have available. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Rabbits do enjoy the companionship of humans and can become very affectionate and enjoy taking tasty fresh forage from your hands. Rabbits do not enjoy being handled and they can find loud noises and sudden movement scary, so they are often suited to families with slightly older children. Bugsy wont take too long to settle into his new home, and he will be showing you his wonderful personality from the get go! What type of environment would suit me? Rabbits need lots of space to keep them fit, healthy and happy, the ideal outdoor accommodation for a pair should consist of either a shed/wendy house or a 1.8m (6ft) single level hutch, attached to a 3m long by 2m wide by 1m high run. Alternatively, the ideal indoor accommodation for a pair should consist of a large room that the rabbits can have 24hr access to, plus daily access to other areas in the home, as well as a secure run to use outdoors in the garden in the warmer months. It’s important they are able to hop, stretch up and jump on to things to express their natural behaviours. Extra padded flooring is a must for Bugsy and his hocks, he will need a home that can provide him with this. Bugsy loves a head rub in the morning and is a happy little helper when it comes to cleaning his unit. He is a confident boy, who really does enjoy spending time with anyone who dares look at his beautiful face! He is going to make a really lovely companion for his new family. Being a rex rabbit, Bugsy has had trauma to his hocks from his previous living conditions, but since being with us and having access to lots of soft flooring they have healed really nicely. A family that can provide Bugsy with not only love, but giving him extra soft and padded flooring, which can be achieved from giving vet bed along with a thick layer of hay all over the floor, will give him a very happy life that he really does deserve. As well as rehoming bonded pairs we help to find companions for single rabbits. We offer an onsite mixing service and can support with mixes taking place in the home.
