Som med alla smådjur behöver kaniner bo säkert bort från andra djur i hemmet. Alla våra ensamkaniner väntar på att kunna bli vänner med ägda djur. Vänligen ansök endast för dem om ni redan har en kanin som söker efter en ny vän. Om ni just nu inte har några kaniner i er vård och vill hitta ett nytt hem, vänligen kolla par/grupper vi har tillgängliga. Kaniner gillar människors förening och kan bli mycket kärleksfulla och njuta av att ta smakfullt friskt foder från era händer. Kaniner gillar inte att bli tagna upp och de kan finna höga ljud och plötsliga rörelser skrämmande, så de passar ofta familjer med lite äldre barn. Bugsy kommer inte att ta lång tid att vänja sig in i sitt nya hem, och han kommer att visa dig hans underbara personlighet direkt! Kaniner behöver mycket utrymme för att hålla sig friska, hälsa och glada, den ideala utomhusboende för ett par bör bestå av antingen ett skjul/wendy hus eller en 1,8 m (6 ft) enplans bur, ansluten till en 3 m lång, 2 m bred och 1 m hög rörelse.

Bugsy is a beautiful boy full of curiosity, just waiting to meet his perfect bunny friend. Bugsy loves a head rub in the morning and is a happy little helper when it comes to cleaning his unit. He is a confident boy, who really does enjoy spending time with anyone who dares look at his beautiful face! He is going to make a really lovely companion for his new family. He is the kindest soul who loves human interaction and we know he would love somebunny who he can snuggle, forage and explore with. Being a rex rabbit, Bugsy has had trauma to his hocks from his previous living conditions, but since being with us and having access to lots of soft flooring they have healed really nicely. A family that can provide Bugsy with not only love, but some extra soft bedding, which can be achieved from giving vet bed along with a thick layer of hay all over the floor, will give him a very happy life that he really does deserve. A social species, rabbits need to live with other rabbits to thrive.They feel safe and happy in pairs or groups and find comfort in companionship. Rabbits can be housed in neutered same-sex or mixed sex-pairs, or groups.
