Meet Gigis – From Chains to Care 💛 Born: approx. 2012 | Mix | Gigis was only 5–6 years old when a family friend “trained” him with violence. After that, even his owners couldn’t handle him. He was chained to the ground with a 1-meter chain, inside a 1-meter high fenced area with no door, no shade, and surrounded by garbage and his own waste. A brave volunteer spent days gaining his trust and finally managed to cut the chain and bring him to safety. Gigis was terrified and highly protective, but step by step, he is learning to feel safe again. Today, he enjoys soft blankets, gentle petting, and is slowly discovering the joy of human companionship. Over the past few months, we’ve been able to take him on walks in our exercise area, and he’s becoming more relaxed, playful, and confident every day.
