Thelma is one of a litter of four puppies who were sadly dumped in the Algarve along with their mum ( who is Spaniel in size). Her siblings are Batman, Robin and Louise, and together they are a wonderfully friendly, happy little group. Thelma is an adorable young girl with a sweet nature and a lovely outlook on life. Despite her difficult start, she is friendly, affectionate and full of puppy curiosity. She enjoys attention, loves being around people and has all the charm you would hope for in a young rescue puppy. Like all puppies, Thelma will need adopters who are ready to guide her as she grows. She will need help with house training, lead walking, socialisation, confidence building and learning how to settle into family life. With patience, kindness and consistency, she has every chance of becoming a wonderful companion. Thelma is looking for a home where she will be loved, included and given the time and support she needs to flourish. She has so much love to give and is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own. She will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including a Uranotest Quattro, a laboratory test for Canine Brucellosis and her own Portuguese passport. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
