Arun to wspaniale piękny Podenco Ibicenco, który do nas przybył na skraju głodu, bez mikrochipa, w końcu strasznego sezonu polowania w Hiszpanii. Jego imię oznacza "rano" i "słońce", a my uważamy, że idealnie pasuje do niego. Obecnie Arun ma bardzo cichy i spokojny charakter, nie szczeka, nie skacze, nie biegnie, porusza się powoli i ostrożnie. Mimo że jest obawiający się sytuacji, nie boi się ludzi w ogóle – kiedy już zna wolontariuszy, lubi być dotykany i gładzony, to tylko szybkie i burzliwe ruchy go odstrasza. Arun bardzo dobrze idzie z ludźmi, które mu ufa, na smyczy, i teraz, gdy dołączył do grupy innych psów, zaczyna się otwierać szybciej. Lubi być w pobliżu innych psów, po raz pierwszy widzieliśmy, jak biegł i ogonił się, kiedy był razem z grupą Podenco, Mastin i Collie, z którymi teraz mieszka. Szukamy dla Aruna domu blisko natury, nie w mieście, z co najmniej jednym psem w rodzinie. Przewidujemy, że nigdy wcześniej nie był w tradycyjnym domu, a najprawdopodobniej doceniłby dom z pewnym zabezpieczonym przestrzenią zewnętrzną, nie całkowicie ograniczoną do wnętrza mieszkania. Wysokość ramion Aruna to około 63–65 cm.

Arun is a stunningly beautiful Podenco Ibicenco who arrived to us on the verge of starvation, without a microchip, towards the end of the horrible hunting season in Spain. His name means "dawn" and "sun", and we think this reflects him perfectly. At the moment, Arun has a very quiet and still nature, he does not bark, jump, rush, he moves slowly and cautiously. Even though he is fearful of situations, he is actually not afraid of people as such - when he already knows a volunteers, he enjoys to be touched and caressed, it is just fast, hectic movements that scare him off. Arun accompanies the people he trusts very nicely on the leash, and now that he has joined a group of other dogs, he is coming out of his shell quicker. He likes to be around other dogs, that is the first time we saw him running and wagging his tail, when he was together with a group of Podenco, Mastin & Collie girls, who he has now moved in with. For Arun we are looking for a home near the nature, not in the city, with at least one dog already in the family. We are guessing that he has never been in a traditional home before, and most likely he would appreciate a home with some safe exterior space, not entirely restricted to living indoors in an apartment. Arun's shoulder height is about 63-65cm.
