Dakota to piękna szara i biała mieszańca, która trafiła do nas z poprzedniego domu bez winy z jej strony. Ta młoda pies jest miła i bardzo rozwielana i lubi uczyć się nowych poleceń, już rozumie "siedz" i "dotykaj" oraz aktualnie uczy się „środek” (stanowiąc między Twoimi nogami). Dakota ma dużo energii, więc szuka opiekunów aktywnych i mających czas poświęcić jej potrzebom, co najmniej 2 spacerów dziennie z zabawą i stymulacją umysłową w ciągu dnia. W czasie zabawy uwielbia zabawki i kubki puchowe i chętnie zabawi się sama. Nowi opiekunowie zauważą, że Dakota to bardzo inteligentny pies i lubi wyzwania w postaci zagadek z przekąskami, by zachować się zajęta. Z racji tego, że jest pełna energii, ta słodka pieska znalazła życie w naszych klatkach frustrujące i może być problematyczna przy próbach zakrycia jej, jednak nasz niezwykły personel odkrył świetną metodę utrzymania jej spokojnej w tych sytuacjach, którą na pewno nauczą jej nowych opiekunów. Ponieważ jest jeszcze młoda, pozdrawianie ludzi nadal jest bardzo ekscytujące i niezależnie od tego, czy jesteś nowym dla niej, czy przyjaznym twarzą, nadal będzie skakała wysoko, by Cię powitać. Czerwienienie jest nawet bardziej nadmiernym dla Dakoty i czasami próbować będzie gryźć, jakby była jeszcze pupilem, ale szczęśliwie można ją łatwo przenieść na zabawkę, gdy to zrobi. Ona ma cechy lurchera z wysoką energią (czasem hucznie) z rasą byczą. Z tego powodu mówimy, że powinna mieszkać z dziećmi 16+. Dakota wykazała dobre zachowanie wobec innych psów, jednak nadal jest nie doświadczone w spotkaniach z psami na smyczy, więc szukamy domu, gdzie będzie jedynym psem. Jednak jeśli pojawi się idealny dom, możemy zastanowić się, czy spróbujemy mieszanka psów, żeby zobaczyć jak to przebiegnie. Gdy tylko trafi do swojego nowego domu z opiekunami, którzy zapewnią jej ujście aktualnej napiętej energii, będzie kwitnąć i kontynuować rozwijanie się w taką zabawną i radosną psa, który będzie cenił ciepłą objętość na sofie na koniec dnia. Dakota is a beautiful grey and white crossbreed who came into our care from her previous home through no fault of her own. This young dog is loving and very smart and loves to learn new commands, she already understands sit and touch and is currently learning “middle” (standing between your legs) Dakota has lots of energy so is looking for adopters who are active and have time to dedicate to her needs, at least 2 walks a day with playtime and mental stimulation throughout the day. When it comes to playtime she adores toys and squeaky balls and will happily amuse herself. Any new adopters will find that Dakota is such a clever dog and she also loves challenging treat puzzles to keep her entertained. As she is full of bounce, this sweet dog has found life in our kennels frustrating and can become a handful when attempting to harness her, however our incredible carers have discovered a great method to keep her calm in these circumstances which they will definitely teach to her new adopters. As she is still a young dog, meeting people is still very exciting and whether you are new to her or a friendly face she will still jump high to greet you. Cuddles are even more overstimulating for Dakota and at times she will attempt to mouth as if she is still a young puppy, thankfully she can be easily redirected onto a toy when she does this. She has the zoomies traits of a lurcher with the high energy bumps (boisterous at times) of a bull breed. Due to this we are saying she should live with children 16+. Dakota has shown good social behaviours around other dogs, however she is still inexperienced with meeting dogs on lead, therefore we are looking for a home where she will be the only dog However, if the perfect home comes along we may be tempted to attempt a dog mix to see how it goes. Once she is in her new home with adopters who provide the outlets she needs to release her current pent up energy she is going to thrive and continue to develop into such a fun and joyful dog who will enjoy a cosy cuddle on the sofa at the end of the day.
