Dakota é um cruzamento cinza e branco lindo que entrou em nosso cuidado de sua antiga casa por nenhum mérito próprio. Este jovem cão é carinhoso e muito inteligente e adora aprender novos comandos, ela já entende "sentar" e "tocar" e está atualmente aprendendo "meio" (ficando entre suas pernas) Dakota tem muita energia, então está buscando adotantes ativos e que tenham tempo para dedicar às suas necessidades, pelo menos 2 caminhadas por dia com tempo de brincadeira e estimulação mental durante o dia. No que diz respeito ao tempo de brincadeira, ela adora brinquedos e bolas que fazem barulho e se diverte facilmente sozinha. Qualquer novo adotante descobrirá que Dakota é um cão muito inteligente e também gosta de desafios com puzzles de recompensas para mantê-la entreterida. Como ela é cheia de energia, essa doce cães encontrou a vida em nossas gaiolas frustrante e pode se tornar difícil de lidar quando tentamos colocar um coleira, no entanto, nossos incríveis cuidadores descobriram um excelente método para mantê-la calma nesses momentos, que certamente ensinarão aos novos adotantes. Como ela ainda é um cão jovem, conhecer pessoas ainda é muito empolgante e independente de você ser novo para ela ou um rosto amigável, ela ainda pula alto para te cumprimentar. Aconchegos são ainda mais estimulantes para Dakota e às vezes ela tentará morder como se ainda fosse um filhote, felizmente ela pode ser facilmente redirecionada para um brinquedo quando faz isso. Ela tem as características de zoomies de um lurcher com os saltos de alta energia (barulhento às vezes) de um cão de raça de touro. Devido a isso, estamos dizendo que ela deve viver com crianças a partir dos 16 anos. Dakota mostrou bons comportamentos sociais com outros cães, no entanto, ela ainda é inexperiente em conhecer cães em guia, portanto, estamos procurando uma casa onde ela será o único cão. No entanto, se a casa perfeita aparecer, podemos ser tentados a tentar uma mistura de cães para ver como vai. Dakota is a beautiful grey and white crossbreed who came into our care from her previous home through no fault of her own. This young dog is loving and very smart and loves to learn new commands, she already understands sit and touch and is currently learning “middle” (standing between your legs) Dakota has lots of energy so is looking for adopters who are active and have time to dedicate to her needs, at least 2 walks a day with playtime and mental stimulation throughout the day. When it comes to playtime she adores toys and squeaky balls and will happily amuse herself. Any new adopters will find that Dakota is such a clever dog and she also loves challenging treat puzzles to keep her entertained. As she is full of bounce, this sweet dog has found life in our kennels frustrating and can become a handful when attempting to harness her, however our incredible carers have discovered a great method to keep her calm in these circumstances which they will definitely teach to her new adopters. As she is still a young dog, meeting people is still very exciting and whether you are new to her or a friendly face she will still jump high to greet you. Cuddles are even more overstimulating for Dakota and at times she will attempt to mouth as if she is still a young puppy, thankfully she can be easily redirected onto a toy when she does this. She has the zoomies traits of a lurcher with the high energy bumps (boisterous at times) of a bull breed. Due to this we are saying she should live with children 16+. Dakota has shown good social behaviours around other dogs, however she is still inexperienced with meeting dogs on lead, therefore we are looking for a home where she will be the only dog However, if the perfect home comes along we may be tempted to attempt a dog mix to see how it goes. Once she is in her new home with adopters who provide the outlets she needs to release her current pent up energy she is going to thrive and continue to develop into such a fun and joyful dog who will enjoy a cosy cuddle on the sofa at the end of the day.
