Pirata spędziła większość swoich siedmiu lat życia przykuta na łańcuchu, aż do śmierci swojego właściciela, kiedy została uratowana. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, psy przykute na łańcuchu nie otrzymują szkolenia – więc nie jest zaskakujące, że Pirata wtedy, gdy trafiła do ADP, bardzo słabo rozumiała słowa i polecenia. Zaobserwowaliśmy wspaniały przełom. Pirata nauczyła się siedzieć na polecenie i jest bardzo dumna ze swego nowo zdobytego umiejętności! Odpowiednio, są oczywiście inne powody, by lubić Piratę. To szczęśliwa i czuła pies, zupełnie nie skryta, dobrze się dogaduje z ludźmi i innymi psami. Po latach zaniedbań lubi życie w schronisku, gdzie otrzymuje dwa rzeczy, które brakowały jej przez większość życia: wolność eksplorowania i dobre towarzystwo. Ale my uważamy, że pora, by Pirata przeszła do kolejnego etapu – własny dom. Pirata jest zwalczona i ma wszystkie szczepienia oraz leczenie pasożytów aktualne.

Pirata spent most of her seven years of life kept on a chain, until her owner died and she was rescued. Generally speaking, dogs that are chained don’t get trained – so it’s hardly surprising that Pirata understood very little about listening to and following instructions when she first came to ADP. we’ve seen a wonderful breakthrough. Pirata has learnt to sit on command and is extremely proud of her newly aquired skill! There are, of course, many other reasons to love Pirata. She is a cheerful and affectionate dog, not shy at all, and gets on well with humans and other dogs. After years of neglect, she loves life in the shelter, where she gets the two things she has lacked for most of her life: freedom to explore and good company. But we think it’s time that Pirata graduated to the next stage – a home of her own. Pirata is sterilised and is fully up-to-date on vaccines and parasite treatments.
