Pirata ha trascorso la maggior parte dei suoi sette anni di vita legata ad una catena, fino a quando il suo proprietario è morto e lei è stata soccorsa. In generale, i cani che vengono tenuti legati non vengono addestrati, quindi non è sorprendente che Pirata capisse molto poco su come ascoltare e seguire le istruzioni quando è arrivata per la prima volta ad ADP. Abbiamo visto un meraviglioso progresso. Pirata ha imparato a sedersi su comando ed è estremamente orgogliosa della sua nuova abilità! Ci sono, ovviamente, tanti altri motivi per amare Pirata. È un cane allegro e affettuoso, non timido affatto, e si intende bene con gli umani e con altri cani. Dopo anni di abbandono, ama la vita in rifugio, dove riceve due cose che ha mancato per la maggior parte della sua vita: la libertà di esplorare e buona compagnia. Ma pensiamo che sia arrivato il momento che Pirata passi alla fase successiva: una casa tutta sua. Pirata è sterilizzata e ha tutte le vaccinazioni e trattamenti contro i parassiti aggiornati.

Pirata spent most of her seven years of life kept on a chain, until her owner died and she was rescued. Generally speaking, dogs that are chained don’t get trained – so it’s hardly surprising that Pirata understood very little about listening to and following instructions when she first came to ADP. we’ve seen a wonderful breakthrough. Pirata has learnt to sit on command and is extremely proud of her newly aquired skill! There are, of course, many other reasons to love Pirata. She is a cheerful and affectionate dog, not shy at all, and gets on well with humans and other dogs. After years of neglect, she loves life in the shelter, where she gets the two things she has lacked for most of her life: freedom to explore and good company. But we think it’s time that Pirata graduated to the next stage – a home of her own. Pirata is sterilised and is fully up-to-date on vaccines and parasite treatments.
