Shelby jest wstydliwa na początku, ale gdy zostanie zaufanie, jest bardzo serdeczna i miła. Potrzebuje domu z doświadczeniem w pracy z lękliwymi lub niskiego poziomu samopoczucia psami. Była pierwotnie uratowana z Rumunii i miała pewne nieprzyjemne doświadczenia w przeszłości (przemoc domowa). Chodzi bardzo dobrze na smyczy i jest neutralna wobec psów, które widzi, może potencjalnie żyć z innym psem (idealnie spokojnym starszym psem), będziemy organizować spotkanie z każdym psem, z którym będzie mieszkać, aby upewnić się, że pierwsze znajomości będą pozytywne. Chcielibyśmy, aby była w cichym domu bez dzieci. Shelby nie może mieszkać z kotami. Jest karmiona surowo, ale jej ulubionym jedzeniem są Quavers, dzieli się nią, ale większość jej należy sobie. Potrzebuje domu, który rozumie jej lękliwy wygląd i potrafi zachęcić jej zabawny, ciepły osobowość do przejęcia głównego miejsca. Z całych sił wierzymy, że Shelby będzie rosnąć w odpowiednim domu. Przeprowadzono testy, w których wykazano ujemny wynik bruceliozy, leishmaniozy i zdała test Snap 4D, który testuje choroby sercowe, ehrlichiozę i anaplasmozę. Zdrowa, szczęśliwa dziewczyna.

Shelby is shy at first but once trust is established she is extremely affectionate and loving. She will need a home that has experience with shy/low confidence dogs. She was originally rescued from Romania and has had some less than pleasant experiences in the past (domestic violence). She walks very well on the lead and is neutral towards dogs that she sees, she could potentially live with another dog (ideally a calm older dog) we would hold a meet-and-greet with any dog she would be living with to make sure that introductions are positive. We would like her to be in a quiet home with no children. Shelby cannot live with cats. She is raw fed but her favourite food is Quavers, she will share but has the majority to herself. She needs a home who understands her shy exterior and can encourage her silly, affectionate personality to take centre stage. We truly believe Shelby will thrive in the right home. She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma. A healthy, happy girl.
