Shelby è timida all'inizio ma una volta che la fiducia è stabilita, è estremamente affettuosa e d'amore. Avrà bisogno di una casa che abbia esperienza con cani timidi o con bassa autostima. È stata originariamente salvata dalla Romania e ha avuto alcune esperienze poco piacevoli nel passato (violenza domestica). Cammina molto bene al guinzaglio e è neutrale nei confronti dei cani che vede, potrebbe potenzialmente convivere con un altro cane (ideale un cane più calmo e anziano) effettueremmo un incontro tra Shelby e qualsiasi cane con cui vivrebbe per assicurarci che le presentazioni siano positive. Vorremmo che fosse in una casa tranquilla senza bambini. Shelby non può vivere con i gatti. È alimentata con cibo crudo ma il suo cibo preferito sono le Quavers, dividerà ma ne avrà la maggior parte per sé. Ha bisogno di una casa che comprende la sua esterna timidezza e che possa incoraggiare la sua personalità divertente e affettuosa a prendere il centro della scena. Siamo veramente convinti che Shelby prospererà nella giusta casa. Ha dato esito negativo per la brucellosi, la leishmaniosi e ha superato il test Snap 4D che testa la presenza di parassiti come il cuore, ehrlichia e anaplasma. Una ragazza sana e felice.

Shelby is shy at first but once trust is established she is extremely affectionate and loving. She will need a home that has experience with shy/low confidence dogs. She was originally rescued from Romania and has had some less than pleasant experiences in the past (domestic violence). She walks very well on the lead and is neutral towards dogs that she sees, she could potentially live with another dog (ideally a calm older dog) we would hold a meet-and-greet with any dog she would be living with to make sure that introductions are positive. We would like her to be in a quiet home with no children. Shelby cannot live with cats. She is raw fed but her favourite food is Quavers, she will share but has the majority to herself. She needs a home who understands her shy exterior and can encourage her silly, affectionate personality to take centre stage. We truly believe Shelby will thrive in the right home. She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma. A healthy, happy girl.
