Encontramos o Acorn em julho de 2010, junto com a irmã dele, a Nova. Os filhotes tinham um pavor enorme de humanos e literalmente gritavam quando alguém tentava tocá-los. Conseguimos levá-los para casa e, aos poucos, fomos conquistando a confiança deles. A Nova foi adotada na Holanda, mas o Acorn nunca encontrou o lar definitivo e ainda está no abrigo hoje. Ele é um velhinho muito feliz e adora as pessoas em quem confia, apesar do começo de vida terrível que teve.

We found Acorn in July of 2010 with his sister Nova. The puppies were absolutely terrified of humans and literally screamed when anyone tried to touch them. We managed to get them back to the house and little by little started winning their trust. Nova was adopted in Holland but Acorn never found his forever home and is still at the shelter today. He is a very happy old boy and he loves the people who he trusts despite his terrible start in life.
