Arthur foi encontrado na rua em Marbella e levado ao abrigo, mas seu humano nunca mais veio buscá-lo... Seu nome original era Thor, que agora mudamos para Arthur para um novo começo, pois ele não reagia a Thor de qualquer forma. Arthur é um jovem bonito com pelagem preta brilhante. Ele é do lado menor dos Amstaff, mais tipo Staffy com seu corpo compacto e pequeno e pernas curtas. Suas orelhas vivem sua própria vida, uma dobrada para um lado, e outra balançando ao vento. No abrigo, Arthur mora ao lado de sua namorada Madison, e eles andam e correm no parque juntos. Como é um jovem, Arthur gosta de correr atrás de seu amigo no parque e brincar um pouco agressivamente, felizmente Madison permite seus travessuras. Para seu lar definitivo, Arthur gostaria de viver com uma cadela educada e forte, que lhe mostre limites e o guie até a idade adulta. Ele também pode muito bem ser o único cão de uma casa sem problemas, porém recomendamos então participar de caminhadas em grupo com outros cães, para que ele mantenha contato com outros cães e cresça como uma bola de canhão socialmente educada. Thor é muito bom com humanos e adora fazer caminhadas com voluntários. Ele anda na coleira com energia, pois está motivado a sair para caminhar, mas precisamos lembrar que este é um cachorro jovem, que só tem uma curta caminhada por dia... Uma vez que ele se mude para uma vida diária normal, certamente será mais calmo na coleira. Arthur saiu durante o dia com um voluntário, e parece que ele ainda não experimentou muito da "vida normal" com humanos, por isso Arthur procura um lar tranquilo em um bairro calmo, um humano que o introduza lentamente e pacientemente ao mundo humano. Embora ele não tenha reagido aos barulhos de tráfego ou carros, as experiências rápidas da vida urbana são um pouco demais para ele agora, e um lar perto da natureza seria muito mais desejável! Ele não é muito fã de gatos, então um lar com gatos não é uma opção no momento. Ele é sociável e educado com todos os humanos, e também é bom com crianças - uma coisa a se considerar é que quando uma pessoa segura um petisco/comida e não o dá a ele, ele pode saltar para alcançar o lanche, algo a se considerar em relação às crianças. A altura do ombro de Arthur é apenas 50cm. Para adoção na Espanha, seria necessário um registro PPP, e o abrigo pode ajudar com isso. Arthur também está disponível para adoções internacionais.

Arthur was found on the street in Marbella and brought to the shelter, but his human never came to pick him up anymore... His original name was Thor, which we now changed to Arthur for a fresher start, as he did not react on Thor anyway. Arthur is a beautiful teenage boy with a shiny black fur. He is on the smaller side of Amstaff, more direction Staffy with his chunky but small body and shorter legs. His ears are living their own life, with one folded to one side, and another flopping around in the wind. In the shelter Arthur lives next to his girlfriend Madison, and they go walking and running in the park together. Being a teenage boy like he is, Arthur likes to run after his friend in the park and play a bit roughly, lucky for him Madison allows him his shenanigans. For his forever home, Arthur would like to live together with an educator sturdy female dog, who will show him boundaries and guide him to adulthood. He could also very well be an only dog of a home without problems, however we would then definitely recommend taking part in canine socialisation group walks, so he can stay in contact with other dogs, and grow to be a socially educated little cannon ball. Thor is very cool with humans and loves to go on walks with volunteers. He is walking on the leash energetically as he is motivated to go on a walk, but we need to keep in mind that this is a young dog, who only has one short walk per day… Once he moves into a normal daily life, he will surely be calmer on the leash. Arthur has been out for the day with a volunteer, and it seems to us that he probably has not experienced much of “normal life” with humans yet, and for that reason, Arthur is looking for an easygoing home in a calm neighborhood, a human who will slowly and patiently introduce him to the human world. While he did not react to traffic noises or cars, the fast-paced experiences of a city life are a bit too much for him right now, and a home near the future would be much more desirable! He is not very keen on cats, so a home with cats is not an option at the moment. He is social and polite with all humans, and he is also good with children - one thing to keep in mind is that when a person is holding up a treat/food, and not giving it to him, then eventually he can jump up to reach the snack, that is something to keep in mind regarding children. Arthur’s shoulder height is just 50cm. For adoption in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed, and the shelter can help with that. Arthur is also available for international adoptions.
