Arthur è stato trovato in strada a Marbella e portato al rifugio, ma il suo umano non è mai tornato a prenderlo... Il suo nome originale era Thor, che ora abbiamo cambiato in Arthur per un nuovo inizio, poiché non reagiva a Thor comunque. Arthur è un bel ragazzo adolescente con un pelo nero lucido. È più piccolo rispetto agli Amstaff, più simile a un Staffy con il suo corpo compatto ma piccolo e le gambe più corte. Le sue orecchie vivono la loro vita, con una piegata su un lato e l'altra che si agita nel vento. Nel rifugio Arthur vive vicino alla sua fidanzata Madison, e vanno a passeggiare e correre insieme nel parco. Essendo un ragazzo adolescente come lui, Arthur ama correre dietro al suo amico nel parco e giocare un po' in modo energico, fortunatamente Madison gli permette i suoi scherzi. Per la sua casa definitiva, Arthur vorrebbe vivere con un cane femmina educato e solido, che gli mostri i limiti e lo guidi all'età adulta. Potrebbe anche essere perfetto come cane unico in una casa senza problemi, tuttavia raccomanderemmo allora sicuramente la partecipazione alle passeggiate di socializzazione canina, così da mantenere contatto con altri cani e crescere come un piccolo razzo educato. Thor è molto freddo con gli umani e adora andare in giro con i volontari. Cammina con energia sul guinzaglio perché è motivato a fare una passeggiata, ma dobbiamo tenere presente che è un cucciolo giovane che ha solo una breve passeggiata al giorno... Una volta che si trasferirà in una vita quotidiana normale, sarà sicuramente più calmo sul guinzaglio. Arthur è uscito tutto il giorno con un volontario, e sembra che non abbia ancora sperimentato molto della "vita normale" con gli umani, e per questo motivo Arthur cerca una casa tranquilla in un quartiere calmo, un umano che lo introduca gradualmente e pazientemente al mondo umano. Mentre non ha reagito ai rumori del traffico o alle auto, le esperienze veloci della vita cittadina sono un po' troppo per lui per ora, e una casa vicino alla natura sarebbe molto più desiderabile! Non è molto interessato ai gatti, quindi una casa con gatti non è un'opzione al momento. È socievole e cortese con tutti gli umani, ed è anche buono con i bambini - una cosa da tenere a mente è che quando una persona tiene in alto un premio/cibo e non glielo dà, lui può saltare per raggiungere il snack, questa è una cosa da tenere a mente riguardo ai bambini. L'altezza delle spalle di Arthur è appena 50 cm. Per l'adozione in Spagna, sarebbe necessaria una registrazione PPP, e il rifugio può aiutare con ciò. Arthur è disponibile anche per adozioni internazionali.

Arthur was found on the street in Marbella and brought to the shelter, but his human never came to pick him up anymore... His original name was Thor, which we now changed to Arthur for a fresher start, as he did not react on Thor anyway. Arthur is a beautiful teenage boy with a shiny black fur. He is on the smaller side of Amstaff, more direction Staffy with his chunky but small body and shorter legs. His ears are living their own life, with one folded to one side, and another flopping around in the wind. In the shelter Arthur lives next to his girlfriend Madison, and they go walking and running in the park together. Being a teenage boy like he is, Arthur likes to run after his friend in the park and play a bit roughly, lucky for him Madison allows him his shenanigans. For his forever home, Arthur would like to live together with an educator sturdy female dog, who will show him boundaries and guide him to adulthood. He could also very well be an only dog of a home without problems, however we would then definitely recommend taking part in canine socialisation group walks, so he can stay in contact with other dogs, and grow to be a socially educated little cannon ball. Thor is very cool with humans and loves to go on walks with volunteers. He is walking on the leash energetically as he is motivated to go on a walk, but we need to keep in mind that this is a young dog, who only has one short walk per day… Once he moves into a normal daily life, he will surely be calmer on the leash. Arthur has been out for the day with a volunteer, and it seems to us that he probably has not experienced much of “normal life” with humans yet, and for that reason, Arthur is looking for an easygoing home in a calm neighborhood, a human who will slowly and patiently introduce him to the human world. While he did not react to traffic noises or cars, the fast-paced experiences of a city life are a bit too much for him right now, and a home near the future would be much more desirable! He is not very keen on cats, so a home with cats is not an option at the moment. He is social and polite with all humans, and he is also good with children - one thing to keep in mind is that when a person is holding up a treat/food, and not giving it to him, then eventually he can jump up to reach the snack, that is something to keep in mind regarding children. Arthur’s shoulder height is just 50cm. For adoption in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed, and the shelter can help with that. Arthur is also available for international adoptions.
