Sou Carrie! E sou grata à SOS Animal por salvar minha vida no último momento. Porque onde eu estava, quase morri 😟. Depois de ser resgatada com sorte, finalmente tive coragem de encarar a vida novamente. Até que fui diagnosticada com leucemia. Novamente, tive medo de que eu não fosse mais desejada 😢. Tanta ansiedade em minha curta vida - mesmo sendo apenas 1 ano de idade. Mas as coisas saíram diferentes. Porque as pessoas continuaram me cuidando no abrigo. Como resultado, meus níveis de leucemia são extraordinariamente bons até hoje. Tão bons, que eu não tenho nenhum prejuízo. Exceto pelo fato conhecido de que vou viver muito menos tempo do que gatos saudáveis 😟. Infelizmente, essa notícias extremamente positivas foi imediatamente seguida por más notícias. Eu contrai o vírus FIP. E é exatamente isso que estou lutando agora. Desde então, eu me sinto muito mal 🤮 mas agora estou em casa com uma mamãe adotiva que cuida de mim. É aconchegante e quente, recebo minhas pílulas e boa comida a cada duas horas, que eu não gostei no início e vomitei tudo. Agora me sinto muito melhor e finalmente aprecio a comida saborosa novamente. Eu até ganhei um pouco de peso 🙂. Eu quero tanto viver! O tratamento da FIP está em andamento há várias semanas. No entanto, ele dura um total de 2 x 84 dias. Como eu preciso de absoluto repouso, atenção e, acima de tudo, amor durante a primeira fase (e também na segunda fase, que dura outros 84 dias), agora estou urgentemente buscando um lar temporário ou um lar para sempre. Um lugar onde eu posso me recuperar do vírus e das experiências estressantes dos últimos meses. I’m Carrie! And I am grateful to SOS Animal for saving my life just in the nick of time. Because where I was, I almost died😟. After I was luckily rescued, I finally had the courage to face life again. Until I was diagnosed with leukaemia. Once again, I was afraid that I was no longer wanted 😢. So much fear in my short life – even though I’m only 1 year old. But things turned out differently. Because people continued to take care of me at the shelter. As a result, my leukaemia levels are unusually good to this day. So good, in fact, that I have no impairments whatsoever. Except for the well-known fact that I will live a much shorter life than healthy cats 😟. Unfortunately, this extremely positive news was immediately followed by very bad news. I have contracted the FIP virus. And that is exactly what I am struggling with right now. Since then, I’ve been feeling really bad 🤮 but now I’m at home with a foster mum who takes care of me. It’s nice and warm, I get my tablets and good food every two hours, which I didn’t like at first and spat everything out. Now I’m feeling much better and I finally enjoy the tasty food again. I’ve even gained some weight 🙂. I want sooo much to live! The FIP treatment has been in full swing for several weeks. However, it takes a total of 2 x 84 days. Since I need absolute rest, attention and, above all, love during the first phase (and also in the second phase, which lasts another 84 days), I am now urgently looking for a foster home or a forever home. A place where I can recover from the virus and the stressful experiences of the last few months. I would love to sit in the sun once more in my life (but not really outside, just on a balcony) and feel the warm rays of sunshine on my fur.
