Sono Carrie! E sono grata a SOS Animal per avermi salvata proprio all'ultimo momento. Perché dove ero, quasi morivo 😟. Dopo che fortunatamente sono stata salvata, finalmente ho avuto il coraggio di affrontare la vita di nuovo. Finché non sono stata diagnosticata con la leucemia. Di nuovo, avevo paura che non fossi più voluta 😢. Così tanta paura in una vita così breve - anche se ho solo 1 anno. Ma le cose sono andate diversamente. Perché le persone hanno continuato a prendersi cura di me nel rifugio. Come risultato, i livelli della mia leucemia sono eccezionalmente buoni fino ad oggi. Così buoni, che non ho alcun tipo di disabilità. Tranne il fatto ben noto che vivrò molto meno tempo rispetto ai gatti sani 😟. Purtroppo, questa notizia estremamente positiva è subito seguita da notizie molto negative. Ho contratto il virus FIP. Ed è esattamente ciò con cui sto lottando adesso. Da allora mi sento davvero male 🤮 ma ora sono a casa con una mamma affidataria che si prende cura di me. È caldo e confortevole, prendo le mie pillole e buoni alimenti ogni due ore, che non mi piacevano all'inizio e ne sbattevo fuori tutto. Ora mi sento molto meglio e finalmente apprezzo nuovamente il cibo gustoso. Anche ho perso un po' di peso 🙂. Voglio tanto vivere! Il trattamento del FIP è iniziato da diverse settimane. Tuttavia, richiede un totale di 2 x 84 giorni. Poiché io ho bisogno di assoluto riposo, attenzione e soprattutto amore durante la prima fase (e anche nella seconda fase, che dura altri 84 giorni), ora sto urgentemente cercando un rifugio o una casa per sempre. Un posto dove posso recuperare dal virus e dagli esperienze stressanti degli ultimi mesi. Vorrei tanto sedermi al sole una volta nella mia vita (ma non davvero fuori, solo su un balcone) e sentire i raggi caldi del sole sul pelo. Se tu: • hai un posto tranquillo per me dove talvolta c'è il sole • sei solitamente a casa • non hai bambini in casa • non hai altri gatti • hai amore da donarmi allora contatta il rifugio SOS Animal via email. Il rifugio coprirà tutti i costi del trattamento. Aspetto con ansia di conoscervi e aspetterò alla casa della mia mamma affidataria finché non ricevo vostre notizie! I’m Carrie! And I am grateful to SOS Animal for saving my life just in the nick of time. Because where I was, I almost died😟. After I was luckily rescued, I finally had the courage to face life again. Until I was diagnosed with leukaemia. Once again, I was afraid that I was no longer wanted 😢. So much fear in my short life – even though I’m only 1 year old. But things turned out differently. Because people continued to take care of me at the shelter. As a result, my leukaemia levels are unusually good to this day. So good, in fact, that I have no impairments whatsoever. Except for the well-known fact that I will live a much shorter life than healthy cats 😟. Unfortunately, this extremely positive news was immediately followed by very bad news. I have contracted the FIP virus. And that is exactly what I am struggling with right now. Since then, I’ve been feeling really bad 🤮 but now I’m at home with a foster mum who takes care of me. It’s nice and warm, I get my tablets and good food every two hours, which I didn’t like at first and spat everything out. Now I’m feeling much better and I finally enjoy the tasty food again. I’ve even gained some weight 🙂. I want sooo much to live! The FIP treatment has been in full swing for several weeks. However, it takes a total of 2 x 84 days. Since I need absolute rest, attention and, above all, love during the first phase (and also in the second phase, which lasts another 84 days), I am now urgently looking for a foster home or a forever home. A place where I can recover from the virus and the stressful experiences of the last few months. I would love to sit in the sun once more in my life (but not really outside, just on a balcony) and feel the warm rays of sunshine on my fur. If you: • have a quiet place for me where the sun sometimes shines • are mostly at home • have no children living in your household • have no other cats • have love to spare for me then please contact the SOS Animal shelter by email.
