Chloe foi doada pela sua família, tristemente ela perdeu sua casa e tudo o que conhecia de um dia para o outro. Vindo de uma casa, não uma excelente já que ela foi abandonada, mas ainda assim uma casa - então o abrigo é especialmente estressante para Chloe. Quando um cão vem da rua ou de maus-tratos, o abrigo é um lugar de melhoria para os cães, mas quando vêm de uma casa, o sofrimento e o estresse são dolorosos de ver em um cão. Chloe é já uma senhora idosa, mas você nunca conseguiria dizer isso porque ela é tão cheia de vida, ativa e brincalhona! Assim que ela sai do ambiente estressante do abrigo, ela relaxa na coleira e adora sair para caminhar. Chloe certamente deve ter sido um lenhador em sua vida anterior, porque nada a encanta mais do que um pedaço de madeira! Mesmo que Chloe seja um cão ativo, é fácil cansá-la com um bom e forte galho - ela vai arremessá-lo no ar, morder, carregá-lo ao redor, correr feliz na grama com o galho entre os dentes - ela adora! Chloe pode ser um pouco saltitante por excitação, ou pela falta de atividade mental e física no abrigo, por isso estamos procurando um lar sem crianças pequenas, adolescentes a partir de 12 anos provavelmente não será um problema. Assim que ela sair do estresse e tiver oportunidade de uma boa caminhada e corrida, ela é realmente uma jovem gentil e observadora com uma presença calma e elegante. Ela não se impõe aos humanos, mas observa primeiro, analisa a situação e depois oferece interação social. Há algo incrivelmente puro sobre a forma como ela se conecta. Quando ela te olha, é suave e pensativa, quase como se estivesse perguntando: "Posso confiar em você?" Assim que ela confia, sua lealdade é profunda e podes ver o sorriso no seu rosto iluminando. Chloe não reage para outros cães e caminha calmamente na sua presença. No entanto, ela tem um forte instinto de caça - se ela ouvir, sentir ou ver algo nos arbustos, ela está convencida de que precisa ser investigado imediatamente e correrá animadamente em direção a ele, então se o seu futuro lar for em uma área rural com coelhos, ratos de campo etc., o seu humano deverá estar preparado para algumas corridas! Por causa do instinto de caça, ela não deve ser levada solta. Um lar sem gatos ou cães pequenos seria o ideal, e claro, um jardim seguro seria muito bom para Chloe, mas ela também seria feliz vivendo em um apartamento espaçoso, desde que ela possa sair para caminhar na natureza para coletar seus galhos. Acreditamos que ela pode viver com outro cão, talvez um macho mais tranquilo e equilibrado, testes podem ser feitos sob consulta. Chloe é realmente inteligente e tem uma forte personalidade, e ela precisa de um dono experiente, que possa oferecer estrutura e orientação consistente. Com o liderança certa e idealmente o apoio de treinamentos com um treinador/grupo de socialização, ela certamente florescerá como um campeão de cão. Chloe merece um lar que veja tanto sua doçura quanto sua força, e esteja disposto a investir no seu futuro. Para adoções na Espanha, será necessário um registro PPP, o abrigo pode ajudar com isso. Chloe was given away by her family, very sadly she lost her home and everything she knows from one day to another. Coming from a home, not a great one since she was abandoned, but still a home - then the shelter is especially very stressy for Chloe. When a dog comes from the street, or abuse, then the shelter is a place of improvement for the dogs, but when they come from a home, the heartbreak and stress is painful to see in a dog. Chloe is already a senior girl, but you would never be able to tell because she is so full of life, active, playful! Once she is away from the stressful environment of the shelter, she relaxes on the leash and really loves to go for walks. Chloe must have been a lumberjack in her previous life, because there is nothing she loves more than a stick of wood! Even though Chloe is an active dog, it is easy to tire her out with a good strong stick - she will throw it in the air, chew on it, carry it around, run cheerfully in the grass with the stick between her teeth - she loves it! Chloe can be a bit jumpy from excitement, or from the lack of mental and physical activity in the shelter, so we are looking for a home without small children for Chloe, teenagers from 12 years old should not be a problem. Once she is away from stress and had a chance for a good walk and run, she is actually a gentle and observant girl with a quiet, elegant presence. She doesn’t push herself forward to humans, but watches first, reads the situation, and then offer social interaction. There is something incredibly pure about her way of connecting. When she looks at you, it is soft and thoughtful almost as if she is asking, “Can I trust you?” Once she does, her loyalty runs deep and you can see the smile on her face lighting up. Chloé is not reacting toward other dogs and walks calmly in their presence. However, she has a strong prey drive it seems - if she hears, smells, or sees something in the bushes, she is convinced it must be investigated immediately and will enthusiastically dive toward it, so if her future home will be in a rural area with rabbits, field mice etc, then her human should be ready for some sprints! Because of the prey drive, she should not be walked off-leash. A home without cats or small dogs would be best, and of course a secured garden would be so great for Chloe, but she would also be happy living in a spacious apartment, as long as she can go walking in the nature to collect her sticks. We think she could potentially live together with another dog, a calmer, balanced male perhaps, tests can be done upon inquiry. Chloe is really intelligent and has a strong character herself, and she needs an experienced owner, who can provide structure and consistent guidance. With the right leadership and ideally the support of a trainer/socialisation group trainings she will surely blossom to a champion of a dog. Chloé deserves a home that sees both her softness and her strength, and is willing to invest in her future. For adoptions in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed, the shelter can help with that. Chloe is also available for international adoptions. Her shoulder height is approximately 56cm.
