Dwayne was brought to us as an injured stray cat with a lot of battle scars. He is quite a charming but nervous boy who is currently thriving in his loving foster home. He would love a new family who can understand him with experience and without any other animals especially with how nervous he is. This sweet cat enjoys being around people, often following his foster family around and enjoys lounging with them too. He absolutely loves his food and is currently using a slow feeder to help him savour his meals. Dwayne does not like being picked up at all and does not appreciate his belly being touched either including during brushing and may potentially nip at you and can occasionally lash out in certain situations. We are confident that he would benefit from having a quiet and understanding home that would best suit his needs and respect his boundaries and ways of communicating. As he is FIV+ he will need to remain as an indoor cat which then would require the cat to have enrichment toys, attention and lots of love from his owners.
