Цей Джмелик пережив те, чого не повинна переживати жодна жива істота. Він знає, що таке лінія фронту і «0». Він виживав, ховався, терпів крижаний холод і голод. В мішку його евакуювали. Привезли до Києва, щоб можливо тут знайщлися ЖИВІ серця, яким відлунає смуток і весь пережитий біль цього кото-хлопчика. Тепер він у клітці притулку, яку страшенно боїться. Хіба ради цього він так намагався вижити і просидів 15 км в мішку, поки його виносили на спині з небезпечної зони… І в клітці йому дуже боляче… не фізично — серцем. Після всього, що він пережив, він так хоче просто жити вдома. Спати не на холоді і не за гратами. Не чекати. Не боятися. Найстрашніше — не його минуле.
