Eleanor é uma jovem e divertida menina que procura sua família perfeita para ter um lar próprio. Infelizmente, ela foi ignorada por mais de um ano… e realmente não entendemos por quê. Eleanor é um prazer estar ao seu redor; o pessoal e voluntários adoram passar tempo com ela, tanto solta em nossas áreas seguras quanto levando-a para fora com seus amigos caninos. Eleanor é uma menina linda e divertida que honestamente é o melhor de todos os mundos – ela adora brincar e é muito ativa, seria um incrível companheiro de aventura para longas caminhadas ou trilhas, ela tem um cérebro incrível e pode aprender qualquer coisa que você peça, e também é um grande bicho de estimação que depois de usar seu cérebro se agarrará a você e fará um longo cochilo. Quem resiste a isso? Ela adora brincar, adora brinquedos e adora se correr atrás dela! Ela é uma menina gentil que trabalha duro para andar bem na coleira e não rouba guloseimas. Ela está procurando um lar com pessoas com mais de 15 anos que estão acostumadas com raças maiores. Eleanor gosta de brincar com outros cães, mas como passou um tempo nos boxe, ela carece de algumas habilidades sociais, embora haja potencial para ela viver com um cachorro estabelecido, acreditamos que seu par perfeito seria um cachorro macho de tamanho semelhante, mais velho (mas ainda brincalhão). Mas também sabemos que ela prosperaria sozinha, sendo o centro das atenções, mas gostaria de ir para encontros de brincadeiras e ter amigos para caminhar. Seu lar ideal teria acesso a boas caminhadas tranquilas no início até que ela se adaptasse a você. Ela também adora o carro, então ficará feliz em se juntar a você para caminhadas mais distantes. Eleanor pode ser desconfiada de homens, especialmente em seu próprio espaço – mas isso é algo com o qual estamos trabalhando e melhorou muito durante o tempo que ela está conosco. Ela está feliz em conhecer novos homens tanto fora quanto no local nos nossos pastos, pode levar alguns tratamentos extras para construir essa associação positiva, mas agora ela pode estar perto, ser paseada e brincar com homens. Eleanor is a young and playful girl who is looking for her perfect family to have a home of her very own. Unfortunately, she has been overlooked for over a year…. And we really don’t understand why. Eleanor is a joy to be around; staff and volunteers love spending time with her both off lead in our secure areas and taking her offsite with her canine friends. Eleanor is a beautiful, fun girl who honestly is the best of all worlds – she loves to play and is very active, she would be an amazing adventure buddy to do long walks or hikes, she has an amazing brain and can learn anything you ask her too, and she is also a massive snuggle bug who after using her brain will cuddle up to you and have a long snooze. Who can resist that?! She loves to play, loves toys and loves if you chase her around! She is a gentle girl who works hard to walk nicely on the lead and doesn’t snatch treats. She is looking for a home with over 15-year-olds who are used to larger breeds. Eleanor does enjoy playing with other dogs but having spent a while in kennels she lacks some social skills, although there is potential for her to live with an established dog, we think her perfect match would be an older (but still playful) similar sized male dog. But we also know she would thrive on her own being the centre of attention but would like to go for playdates and have walking friends. Her ideal home would have access to some nice quiet walks to start with until she settled with you. She also does love the car so will happily join you for walks further afield. Eleanor can be wary of men, especially in her own space – but this is something we have been working on and has gotten a lot better over her time with us. She is happy meeting new men both offsite and onsite in out paddocks now, it may take a couple of extra treats to build that positive association, but she can happily be around, be walked by and play with men now. But will need a family willing to continue this training and a family happy to manage careful visitor interactions.
