Eleanor è una giovane e giocosa ragazza che sta cercando la sua famiglia perfetta per avere una casa tutta per sé. Purtroppo è stata trascurata da più di un anno... e davvero non capiamo perché. Eleanor è una gioia da vivere; il personale e gli volontari amano trascorrere del tempo con lei, sia fuori dal guinzaglio nelle nostre aree sicure, sia portandola fuori con i suoi amici cani. Eleanor è una bella ragazza divertente che onestamente è la migliore di tutti i mondi: ama giocare ed è molto attiva, sarebbe un fantastico compagno per lunghe passeggiate o escursioni, ha un grande cervello e può imparare qualsiasi cosa le chiedi, e inoltre è una grande coccolona che dopo aver usato il cervello si stringe a te e fa un lungo pisolino. Chi può resistere a questo? Ama giocare, ama i giochi e ama se ti metti a correre intorno a lei! È una ragazza dolce che lavora sodo per camminare bene al guinzaglio e non ruba le leccornie. Sta cercando una casa con ragazzi sopra i 15 anni che sono abituati alle razze più grandi. Eleanor ama giocare con altri cani, ma avendo trascorso un po' di tempo in gabbia manca alcune tecniche sociali, tuttavia c'è potenziale per convivere con un cane stabile, pensiamo che il suo partner ideale sarebbe un maschio simile nella taglia, ma ancora giocoso. Ma sappiamo anche che prospererebbe da sola essendo al centro dell'attenzione, ma vorrebbe andare a riunioni di gioco e avere compagni per le passeggiate. La sua casa ideale avrebbe accesso a belle passeggiate tranquille all'inizio finché non si fosse abituata a te. Le piace anche l'auto, quindi sarà felice di unirsi a te per passeggiate più lontane. Eleanor può essere cauta con gli uomini, specialmente nel suo spazio personale - ma è qualcosa su cui abbiamo lavorato e si è molto migliorata durante il suo tempo con noi. È contenta di conoscere nuovi uomini sia fuori che sul posto nei nostri recinti, potrebbe volerci qualche trattarella in più per creare questa associazione positiva, ma ora può stare tranquillamente intorno agli uomini, essere accompagnata a passeggio e giocare con loro. Eleanor is a young and playful girl who is looking for her perfect family to have a home of her very own. Unfortunately, she has been overlooked for over a year…. And we really don’t understand why. Eleanor is a joy to be around; staff and volunteers love spending time with her both off lead in our secure areas and taking her offsite with her canine friends. Eleanor is a beautiful, fun girl who honestly is the best of all worlds – she loves to play and is very active, she would be an amazing adventure buddy to do long walks or hikes, she has an amazing brain and can learn anything you ask her too, and she is also a massive snuggle bug who after using her brain will cuddle up to you and have a long snooze. Who can resist that?! She loves to play, loves toys and loves if you chase her around! She is a gentle girl who works hard to walk nicely on the lead and doesn’t snatch treats. She is looking for a home with over 15-year-olds who are used to larger breeds. Eleanor does enjoy playing with other dogs but having spent a while in kennels she lacks some social skills, although there is potential for her to live with an established dog, we think her perfect match would be an older (but still playful) similar sized male dog. But we also know she would thrive on her own being the centre of attention but would like to go for playdates and have walking friends. Her ideal home would have access to some nice quiet walks to start with until she settled with you. She also does love the car so will happily join you for walks further afield. Eleanor can be wary of men, especially in her own space – but this is something we have been working on and has gotten a lot better over her time with us. She is happy meeting new men both offsite and onsite in out paddocks now, it may take a couple of extra treats to build that positive association, but she can happily be around, be walked by and play with men now. But will need a family willing to continue this training and a family happy to manage careful visitor interactions.
