Meet handsome Huckleberry 💙 Huckleberry is one of Heidi’s beautiful puppies, born safely in the care of our team after his mum was sadly dumped while pregnant. Huckleberry and his siblings have only ever known love, kindness and TLC. They have grown up being cared for, handled and adored, which has given them the very best start. Huckleberry is expected to be a small dog when fully grown and, like his mum Heidi, is likely to be fluffy and utterly gorgeous. He is still a young puppy, so he will need adopters who are ready for all the usual puppy training, including house training, lead walking, socialisation and learning how to settle into family life. He will need a patient, kind home that understands puppies need time, guidance and consistency as they grow. In return, Huckleberry has all the makings of a wonderful little companion. Huckleberry will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including a Uranotest Quattro, which screens for Leishmania infantum, Ehrlichia canis, Anaplasma and Dirofilaria immitis antigen. He will also be tested for Canine Brucellosis and will travel with his own Portuguese passport. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
