Huckleberry et ses frères et sœurs n'ont jamais connu que l'amour, la bienveillance et les soins attentifs. Ils ont grandi entourés d'attention, de manipulations et d'affection, ce qui leur a offert le meilleur départ possible. Huckleberry devrait être un petit chien lorsqu'il sera adulte et, comme sa mère Heidi, il sera probablement velu et absolument magnifique. Il est encore un tout petit chiot, donc il aura besoin d'adoptants prêts à faire face à toutes les formations habituelles pour les chiots, y compris l'entraînement à la propreté, la marche en laisse, la socialisation et l'apprentissage de l'adaptation à la vie en famille. Il aura besoin d'un foyer patient et aimant qui comprenne que les chiots ont besoin de temps, de guidage et de constance pendant leur croissance. En retour, Huckleberry a tout pour devenir un merveilleux compagnon. Huckleberry arrivera pleinement vacciné et avec des contrôles de santé complets, incluant un Uranotest Quattro, qui dépiste le Leishmania infantum, l'Ehrlichia canis, l'Anaplasma et l'antigène Dirofilaria immitis. Il sera également testé pour la brucellose canine et voyagera avec son propre passeport portugais. La plupart de nos chiens ont été trouvés abandonnés alors qu'ils étaient encore des chiots, rejetés comme des portées non désirées, ce qui est souvent le cas en Portugal où la stérilisation n'est pas aussi courante qu'au Royaume-Uni. Après leur sauvetage, tous nos chiots passent un temps dans des refuges privés et des familles d'accueil, ce qui signifie qu'ils arrivent heureux, en bonne santé et bien socialisés. Meet handsome Huckleberry 💙 Huckleberry is one of Heidi’s beautiful puppies, born safely in the care of our team after his mum was sadly dumped while pregnant. Huckleberry and his siblings have only ever known love, kindness and TLC. They have grown up being cared for, handled and adored, which has given them the very best start. Huckleberry is expected to be a small dog when fully grown and, like his mum Heidi, is likely to be fluffy and utterly gorgeous. He is still a young puppy, so he will need adopters who are ready for all the usual puppy training, including house training, lead walking, socialisation and learning how to settle into family life. He will need a patient, kind home that understands puppies need time, guidance and consistency as they grow. In return, Huckleberry has all the makings of a wonderful little companion. Huckleberry will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including a Uranotest Quattro, which screens for Leishmania infantum, Ehrlichia canis, Anaplasma and Dirofilaria immitis antigen. He will also be tested for Canine Brucellosis and will travel with his own Portuguese passport. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
