The breed likely originated from a cross between Hungarian herding dogs and German shepherds. Mudis are known as confident, watchful dogs that are loyal and clingy. They require a lot of movement and also mental stimulation, because boredom can strongly affect their mental well-being. Even though Mudis are considered trainable and easy to train, it should be noted that Iggy still has puberty ahead. During this hormonal transition phase, forgetfulness and rebelliousness may occur. Then, patience and empathy are needed, because Iggys chaos in his head is normal and an important part of his development. After this phase ends, Iggy will be a confident companion. Seine Geschichte: Iggys Start ins Leben war alles andere als einfach. Gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwisterchen wurde er – eingesperrt in einer Box – einfach ausgesetzt. Wieder einmal sind wir fassungslos und sehr traurig über so viel Herzlosigkeit, aber auch voller Tatendrang, denn Iggy soll schnell ein schönes, behütetes Für-immer-Zuhause finden. Aktuell tappst er auf einer rumänischen Pflegestelle die ersten, vorsichtigen Schritte ins Hundeleben – er entdeckt, spielt und zeigt sich als zuckersüßes, freundliches Wesen. Mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit ist Iggy ein Mudi-Mix. Der Mudi gilt als „das Mädchen für alles“ bei Hirten und Kleinbauern. Er hütet eigenständig das Vieh oder bewacht zuverlässig das Heim. Die Rasse entspringt vermutlich einer Kreuzung der ungarischen Hütehunde mit deutschen Schäferhunden. Mudis gelten als selbstbewusste, wachsame Hunde, die treu und anhänglich sind. Sie benötigen viel Bewegung und auch geistige Auslastung, denn Langeweile kann dem seelischen Gleichgewicht stark zusetzen. Auch wenn Mudis als gelehrig und leicht erziehbar gelten, sollte bedacht werden, dass Iggy seine Pubertät noch vor sich hat. Während dieser Phase der hormonellen Umstellung können Vergesslichkeit sowie Aufmüpfigkeit auftreten. Dann sind Besonnenheit und Empathie gefragt, denn Iggys Chaos im Kopf ist normal und ein wichtiger Teil der Entwicklung. Nach Beendigung dieser Phase wird Iggy ein souveräner Begleiter sein. Ist Iggy bereits dein großer Star? Wie gerne würde er ganz bald ein neues Leben beginnen, auch an der Seite eines souveränen Erst-Hundes, und dir zeigen, was alles in ihm steckt. Sein Köfferchen ist schon gepackt. Iggy kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht zu dir reisen und bringt auch seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit.
