Histórico Em uma manhã fria e úmida, um casal macedônio estava levando seus cães para passear em um caminho ao lado de uma linha férrea, quando viram o Indy – um filhote pequeno e indefeso seguindo as pessoas que passavam pelo caminho. Ela era apenas uma bebê e o casal ficou com o coração partido ao ver que ninguém se importava com a pequena que pedia ajuda, e eles não aguentavam a ideia de ela ficar sozinha fora, sem abrigo e comida, talvez sendo morta no tráfego ou prejudicada por pessoas irritadas com a visão de um cão vadio pedindo comida. Então decidiram levá-la para a noite e encontrar uma solução. Eles a alimentaram e lhe deram um lugar quente para dormir naquela noite. Eles não conseguiram encontrar nenhum abrigo com espaço para ajudar o filhote e não tinham espaço para mantê-la, mas decidiram cuidar da segurança dela e no dia seguinte encontraram um lugar para ela em uma pensão canina. É onde ela está vivendo agora, ela foi salva pela generosidade deste lindo casal que garantiu que ela estivesse segura e bem cuidada. Agora o Indy está pronto para encontrar um lar, e nós concordamos em ajudar com isso. Gostos O Indy cresceu em um cão muito bonito, amigável e alegre de tamanho médio (cerca de 15 kg). Ela é ótima com as pessoas, também com crianças, ela adora atenção, um bom abraço e é uma menina muito brincalhona e feliz. O Indy anda bem preso em uma coleira e realmente gosta de explorar seu entorno. Sua natureza alegre e curiosa encanta todos os que conhecem esta pequena doce. Ela não foi testada com gatos, mas tem uma natureza muito boa, então com apresentação adequada e paciência ela pode viver com gatos. Ela convive maravilhosamente bem com outros cães e é muito brincalhona. Desgostos e problemas Nenhum problema foi encontrado com o Indy. Ela é um filhote energético que precisará de alguns treinamentos básicos para filhotes e socialização depois que passou boa parte de sua juventude em uma pensão canina com pouco tempo para estimular os cães individualmente. Mas com uma abordagem sensata e treinamento adequado o Indy logo recuperará o tempo perdido. Lar ideal O Indy está procurando um lar amoroso e definitivo, com pessoas que a tratem como membro da família e lhe dê o amor que ela deseja. A família estará disposta a investir tempo no seu treinamento, pois ela é um cão jovem e energético que precisa de estimulação mental e duas caminhadas boas por dia. Ela precisa de um lar com área de jardim protegido e bons locais para caminhar perto. O Indy pode viver em uma casa com crianças e outros animais de estimação. Background On a cold, chilly morning a Macedonian couple were walking their dogs on a trail by a railroad track, when they saw Indy – a small, helpless puppy following people passing by on the path. She was just a small baby and the couple were heartbroken to see no one cared about the little one asking for help, and they couldn’t bear the thought of her being outside alone, without shelter and food, maybe being killed in the traffic, or harmed by people who are annoyed at the sight of a begging stray. So they decided to take her in for the night and find a solution. They fed her and gave her a warm place to sleep for the night. They could not find any shelter with place to help the puppy and they had no space to keep her, but decided to provide for her safety themselves and the next day they found her a place in boarding kennels. This is where she is now living, she was saved by the generosity of this lovely couple who made sure she was safe and cared for. Now Indy is ready to find a home, and we have agreed to help with this. Likes Indy has grown into a beautiful, very friendly and cheerful dog of medium size (around 15 kg). She is great with people, also children, she loves attention, a good cuddle and she is a very playful, happy girl. Indy walks well on a lead and really enjoys exploring her surroundings. Her bubbly, curious nature charms everyone who meets this little sweetheart. She has not been tested with cats, but she is very good natured so with proper introduction and patience she can live with cats. She gets on wonderfully with other dogs and is very playful. Dislikes and issues No issues have been encountered with Indy. She is an energetic little puppy, who will need some basic puppy training and socialization after she spent a good part of her youth in the confined space of a boarding kennel with very limited time to stimulate the individual dogs. But with a sensible approach and proper training Indy will soon catch up for lost time. Ideal home Indy is looking for a loving, forever home, with people who will treat her as a family member and give her the love she craves for. The family will be eager to invest time in her training since she is a young, energetic dog, who needs mental stimulation and two good walks every day. She needs a home with a secured garden space and good walking areas nearby. Indy can live in a home with children and with other pets. Indy has been lucky to get a foster place in Dorset – meet and greet can be arranged after successful home check. Indy is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
