Kafka und seine sieben Geschwister Bernd, Mave, Soul, Cheddar, Leno, Jim Knopf und Kuddel wurden zusammen mit Mama Amra von Meda vor ihrem Haus auf einem Feld eingefangen und in Sicherheit gebracht. Kafka ist den Menschen gegenüber ein bisschen skeptisch und betrachtet seine Umwelt noch etwas vorsichtig. Aber genau wie seine Geschwister zeigt er sich welpentypisch verspielt und wickelt alle Menschen, die ihm begegnen schon gekonnt um seine kleinen Pfötchen. Aber wer kann diesem Blick auch schon widerstehen? Kafkas Mutter ist etwa 50 cm groß und vermutlich wird auch Kafka mal mittelgroß werden. Kafka sucht Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihm erwarten und ihm zeigen, wie ein normales Hundeleben funktioniert. Er ist noch ein Baby und muss noch viel lernen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihm nicht übelnehmen und Kafka stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Er freut sich schon auf sein neues Leben mit schönen Spaziergängen in der Natur, vielen Schmusestunden und auch auf einen Besuch in der Welpenschule. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich allein sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben, und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Sobald Kafka alt genug ist, kann er geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt und entfloht seine große Reise ins Glück antreten. Seinen EU-Heimtierausweis wird er ebenfalls im Gepäck haben. Kafka kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt werden.
