Adotar Linda
Fêmea · Gato Filho · Idade desconhecida
Description Linda has had a tough three years of life, being abandoned twice. First, she was left on the street with her siblings León and Lomba as if she were trash, and then, after two years, she was returned to this breed our shelter. When she left, she was a happy, lively, and playful cat, raised on a bottle by one of our colleagues. But she returned being a fearful and very mistrustful cat of people. Her adopter told a unbelievable story about how the cat had started to attack her due to her emotions and stress, which had caused her urinary problems. Evidently, there was a part of the story she did not want to share. The cat arrived at the animal shelter very aggressive and immediately went to the home of a colleague with much experience in similar cases. It took many months of work to make her feel safe, calm, and relaxed in the presence of people. For the first two months, she only came out from under the sofa at night, but gradually she began to trust, but she has never attacked anyone in the house nor has she become aggressive at any point. We understand that there was something happening with her adopter that we do not know. She has been in foster care for 10 months, and the change has been spectacular. She is affectionate and very sweet. She loves being touched, she rolls on her back, and she likes to snuggle on your lap. Finally, she has regained her trust. She loves eating pate and has not had any urinary problems. Her adopter told us that she does not get along well with other animals, and we have not introduced any because we think she would be better off without other animals. You are encouraged to meet her; she is ready to find her permanent home. This animal needs to be the only pet in the home.
