You may remember Loki from being on the website a couple of months ago. While in our care, we noticed that he was limping and not as playful as a kitten of his age should have been. After getting an X-Ray, it was found that Loki had severe hip dysplasia that was causing his femur bone to pop in and out the socket- causing him a lot of pain. To help, he had to undergo surgery to fix this, and has been out on foster recovering. After 6 weeks, he is now finally ready to find his new home. Due to his past surgery, he would need to remain as a strict housecat. The following information comes from the foster family about him: Loki is super affectionate, curious, and confident. He absolutely adores attention and loves being held-his favourite words are definitely “snuggles” and “cuddles”! He's quite vocal and enjoys chatting with his people. Loki is very confident when meeting new people and enjoys exploring new environments and experiences. While he is very confident around adults, he can be a little skittish around young children. Therefore, he would best be going to a home with children 10+. Loki would prefer to be the only pet in the home. He does not get along with other cats or dogs and will quickly puff up and chase them regardless of their size. Aside from this, he's a very easy-going and affectionate companion. Loki's greatest love is springs.. Lots and lots of springs! He also enjoys wand toys, puzzle feeders, and anything that challenges his clever mind. He's already learned to sit and sit pretty, and genuinely enjoys learning new tricks and skills.
