As soon as she feels safe, she seeks out pets—especially on her head and chin—and really enjoys having company. That said, she also has a bit of an independent streak: she likes to have her own space, though never too far from you, since she’ll curl up nearby and dream big. She usually does this curled up in a ball or even showing you her belly while she rests. 🥹And when she sleeps, she has a little quirk: she makes adorable chirps that sound like little cat conversations. 😻Mel also knows how to make herself understood. She loves cuddles, but if she thinks she’s had enough, she’ll let you know with a gentle nibble. It’s her way of telling you that maybe the cuddles can continue… a little later. After making a full recovery, she’s now at her ideal weight and ready to start a new chapter in her life. 💛She didn’t have an easy time on the streets, as she was bullied by some of the cats in the colony. She’s currently living in a foster home with other cats, but she feels vulnerable around them and isn’t at ease. En cuanto se siente segura, busca caricias, especialmente en la cabeza y la barbilla, y disfruta muchísimo de estar acompañada. Eso sí, también tiene su puntito independiente: le gusta tener su espacio, aunque nunca demasiado lejos de ti ya que se acurrucará cerca y soñar en grande. Suele hacerlo hecha un ovillo o incluso enseñándote la barriga mientras descansa. 🥹Y cuando duerme tiene una pequeña peculiaridad: hace unos gorjeos adorables que parecen pequeñas conversaciones gatunas. 😻Mel también sabe hacerse entender. Le encantan los mimos, pero si considera que ya ha tenido suficiente, te lo hará saber con un suave mordisquito. Es su manera de decirte que quizá las caricias pueden continuar... un poquito más tarde. Déjala dormir plácidamente y luego tendrás recompensa.Además, tiene algunas aficiones muy particulares. Una de ellas es seguirte al baño y tumbarse descaradamente sobre tus pies, porque parece que tu momento de tranquilidad también necesita supervisión gatuna. 😂🚽 Y aunque todavía no muestra demasiado interés por los juguetes (poco a poco la estamos conquistando), su diminuta nariz sí está siempre trabajando: lo inspecciona todo y, especialmente, cualquier café que detecte cerca e intentará compartirlo contigo. ☕️👀 Casi casi, está a la misma altura que sus snacks líquidos exclusivos para gatos.Mel llegó a una colonia de gatos que gestionamos desde hace años. Apareció tumbada en el suelo, en un estado de desnutrición severa. Nuestra hipótesis es que pasó tiempo encerrada en algún sitio, o bien, pasó días deambulando hasta encontrar comida. En algún momento tuvo una “familia” dado el grado de sociabilización, pero está claro que no supieron apreciar a esta joya. Tras recuperarse por completo, ahora está en su peso ideal y preparada para empezar una nueva etapa en su vida💛No lo pasó bien en la calle, ya que recibió bullying de algunos gatos de la colonia. Actualmente vive en una casa de acogida con otros gatos, pero se siente vulnerable en presencia de ellos y no está tranquila.
