Her story: With her curious button eyes, delicate expression, and a nature that teeters between cautious reserve and eager energy, Peanut quickly won the hearts of her foster family. The little female dog originally came from Cluj, Romania – but for the past month, she's been living in Germany, in her foster home in Bachhagel, and she's doing great there. Peanut is a smart girl who quickly understands what's expected of her: She already runs well on a leash, accepts boundaries with friendliness and firmness, and travels in the car without a problem. She gets along well with other dogs, whether they're big, small, young, or old. She also gets along very well with people: At first, she's a bit cautious, but when met with calmness, she quickly warms up and shows herself to be cuddly, interested, and open. She especially loves to snuggle – once her heart is won, she gives it with a lot of warmth. House training is currently being practiced, but Peanut learns quickly and wants to please. She also gets along well with children – as long as they're gentle and fair, and show her that not every toy automatically belongs to her 😉. Even though Peanut is now a simple, eager-to-learn puppy, a special phase is on the horizon: puberty. The cute puppy is turning into a young dog who begins to think more independently, question boundaries, and perceive its environment more intensely. During this time, many dogs test how far they can go: things that worked before no longer work, commands are "forgotten," lead training becomes a test of patience, and some discover their voice anew or develop new insecurities about stimuli that were previously no problem. This is normal – and no cause for worry. What's important is that you now remain calm, clear, and consistent without building pressure. Structure, security, and loving guidance help the dog navigate through this turbulent time. Peaceful phases, frustration tolerance, and controlled experiences of new situations are also particularly important now. A visit to a positively working dog training class would be a great way to grow as a team and accompany Peanut on her journey to becoming a confident, happy female dog. Peanut is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She has an EU pet passport, and upon a positive adoption of Peanut, you won't just get a charming female dog, but a lifelong companion with brains, cuddle potential, and a fine soul. Ihre Geschichte: Mit ihren neugierigen Knopfaugen, dem zarten Gesichtsausdruck und einem Wesen, das irgendwo zwischen vorsichtiger Zurückhaltung und tapsigem Tatendrang pendelt, hat sich Peanut schnell in die Herzen ihrer Pflegefamilie geschlichen. Die kleine Hündin stammt ursprünglich aus Cluj, Rumänien – doch seit einem Monat lebt sie nun in Deutschland, in ihrer Pflegestelle in Bachhagel, und macht sich dort richtig gut. Peanut ist ein schlaues Mädchen, das schnell versteht, was von ihr erwartet wird: Sie läuft bereits gut an der Leine, nimmt Grenzen freundlich, aber bestimmt an und fährt ohne Probleme im Auto mit. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sie sich prima – egal ob groß, klein, jung oder alt. Auch mit Menschen kommt sie sehr gut klar: Anfangs ist sie etwas vorsichtig, doch wenn man ihr ruhig begegnet, taut sie schnell auf und zeigt sich anschmiegsam, interessiert und offen. Besonders gern kuschelt sie – wenn man ihr Herz einmal gewonnen hat, verschenkt sie es mit ganz viel Wärme. Stubenreinheit wird aktuell noch geübt, aber Peanut lernt rasend schnell und will gefallen. Auch mit Kindern kommt sie klar – solange sie sanft und fair behandelt wird und man ihr zeigt, dass nicht jedes Spielzeug automatisch ihr gehört 😉. Auch wenn Peanut jetzt ein unkomplizierter, lernfreudiger Welpe ist, steht in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft eine besondere Phase an: die Pubertät. Aus dem niedlichen Welpen wird ein Junghund, der beginnt, eigenständiger zu denken, Grenzen zu hinterfragen und seine Umwelt intensiver wahrzunehmen. In dieser Zeit testen viele Hunde aus, wie weit sie gehen können: Dinge, die vorher sicher geklappt haben, funktionieren plötzlich nicht mehr. Kommandos werden „vergessen“, Leinenführigkeit wird zur Geduldsprobe, und manch einer entdeckt seine Stimme neu oder entwickelt plötzlich Unsicherheiten gegenüber Reizen, die vorher kein Problem waren. Das ist ganz normal – und kein Grund zur Sorge. Wichtig ist, dass man nun ruhig, klar und konsequent bleibt, ohne Druck aufzubauen. Struktur, Sicherheit und liebevolle Führung helfen dem Hund, durch diese turbulente Zeit zu finden. Auch Ruhephasen, Frustrationstoleranz und kontrolliertes Erleben neuer Situationen sind jetzt besonders wichtig. Der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule wäre eine tolle Möglichkeit, gemeinsam als Team zu wachsen und Peanut auf ihrem Weg zu einer souveränen, glücklichen Hündin zu begleiten. Peanut ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis und wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt. Wer Peanut adoptiert, bekommt nicht nur eine bezaubernde Hündin, sondern eine echte Gefährtin fürs Leben – mit Köpfchen, Kuschelpotenzial und einer ganz feinen Seele. Vielen lieben Dank an Uschi.
