Em agosto de 2017, Poppy foi abandonada no abrigo junto com o irmão e as irmãs. Os filhotes eram amigáveis e estavam com boa saúde, mas isso não teria durado muito se tivessem sido deixados à vida nas ruas. À medida que Poppy crescia, ela só ficava mais amigável e sociável. É uma menina tão entusiasmada, que adora todos e tudo, e o rabo nunca para de abanar.

In August of 2017, Poppy, was dumped at the shelter with her brother and sisters. The pups were friendly and in good health but this wouldn't have lasted long if they had been left to a life on the streets. As Poppy grew she just got friendlier and more outgoing. She is such an enthusiastic girl, loves everyone and everything and her tail never stops wagging.
