Um dos nossos casos mais urgentes e tristes. Rex e Sailor merecem uma vida livre de gaiolas. Poderá ter visto algumas publicações recentes sobre Sailor e Rex que necessitam de um lugar seguro. Eles passaram a maior parte da vida em gaiolas, movendo-se de abrigo em abrigo. Infelizmente, o abrigo onde estavam teve que fechar repentinamente. A única opção para eles era ir para um grande abrigo estatal ou vir para nós. Rex e Sailor são cães bastante nervosos e tímidos, por isso um grande abrigo não é o lugar para eles. Tentámos encontrar uma melhor solução para eles, mas ninguém estava disponível para os acolher com urgência, então agora estão connosco. Rex e Sailor passaram por muito e são muito unidos. Rex é o cão de segurança do Sailor e dá-lhe muita ajuda emocional. Rex é um cão nervoso, mas tem um carácter realmente suave e é muito gentil. Ele vem até si para receber alguns petiscos, mas ainda está demasiado nervoso para fazer caminhadas. Os nossos incríveis voluntários entram diariamente na gaiola deles e passam tempo com eles para os conhecer e construir confiança em relação às pessoas. Tentamos trabalhar com eles para que se sintam mais à vontade e estão lentamente tornando-se mais confortáveis connosco. Estes cães afectuosos merecem um lar amoroso onde possam viver uma vida feliz sem medo. Felizmente há alguma esperança para eles pois há um casal com uma quinta que está interessado em os adotar, no entanto levará alguns meses antes que o seu novo lar esteja pronto para eles. Acreditamos que é melhor para eles encontrar um lar seguro e amoroso tão cedo quanto possível com alguém que possa passar tempo com eles, por isso estamos ainda à procura de um lugar para eles! One of our most urgent and sad cases. Rex and Sailor deserve a cage free live. You might have seen some posts recently about Sailor and Rex in need of a safe place. They have spend most of their lives in cages, moving from shelter to shelter. Unfortunately the shelter where they were staying suddenly had to close. The only option for them was to go to a big state shelter or come to us. Rex and Sailor are both quite nervous and shy dogs, so a big shelter is not the place for them. We tried to find a better solution for them, but there was no one who could take them in on short notice, so now they are staying with us. Rex and Sailor have been through a lot and are very close to each other. Rex is Sailor's sweet safety dog and gives him a lot of emotional support. Rex is a nervous dog, but he has a really sweet character and is very gentle. He will come up to you for some treats, but he is too nervous to go on walks yet. Our amazing volunteers go in to their cage every day and spend time with them to get to know them and built their confidence around people. We try to work with them to make them feel more at ease and they are slowly getting more comfortable around us. These sweet dogs deserve a loving home where they can experience a happy live without any fear. And luckily there is some hope for them as there is a couple with a finca that is interested in adopting them, however it will take a few months before their new home would be ready for them. We believe that it's best for them to find a safe and loving home as soon as possible with someone who can spend time with them, so we are still looking for a place for them!
