Ela passou algum tempo se escondendo em nossa gaiola principal quando tivemos a chance de um lar temporário onde poderíamos ver se ela conseguia lidar com a vida cotidiana. Levou tempo e muita paciência, mas depois de 2 meses acreditamos que Ruby pode ser reabilitada. Esta é a opinião da mãe adotiva de Ruby: "Ruby é uma garota gentil e sensível que fez ótimos progressos em um ambiente calmo. Ela pode ser tímida no início, mas assim que se sente segura, seu lado carinhoso brilha. Ruby adora se enrolar no colo nas noites e aprecia muito longas sessões de carinho. Ela forma laços fortes e começou até a dormir na cama perto de sua pessoa quando se sente segura. Ela se sairia melhor em um lar tranquilo com adotantes pacientes que a deixem se acostumar no seu próprio ritmo. Com tempo e bondade, Ruby se torna uma companheira leal e carinhosa". Por isso estamos procurando um lar muito tranquilo para Ruby. * NOW IN HER FOREVER HOME….. FINGERS CROSSED!* Ruby is an 8 year old Siamese. Having had a poor start to her life she came into rescue scared and traumatised. She spent some time hiding in our main cattery when we got the chance of a foster home where we could see if she was able to cope with everyday life. It has taken time and a lot of patience but after 2 months we believe Ruby could be rehomed. This is what her foster mum said about Ruby: “Ruby is a gentle, sensitive girl who has made lovely progress in a calm home environment. She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe her affectionate side shines. Ruby loves curling up on laps in the evenings and happily enjoys long petting sessions. She forms strong bonds and has even started sleeping on the bed near her person once she feels secure. She would do best in a quiet home with patient adopters who will let her settle at her own pace. With time and kindness, Ruby becomes a very loyal and loving companion” So we are looking for a very quiet home for Ruby. She will hide when she first arrives, but with time will reward with purrs.
