Pasó algún tiempo ocultándose en nuestra cattery principal cuando tuvimos la oportunidad de un hogar temporal donde podríamos ver si podía manejar la vida cotidiana. Ha tomado tiempo y mucha paciencia, pero después de 2 meses creemos que Ruby podría ser rehogada. Esta es lo que dijo su mamá de acogida sobre Ruby: "Ruby es una chica tierna y sensible que ha hecho excelentes progresos en un entorno tranquilo. Puede ser tímida al principio, pero una vez que se siente segura su lado cariñoso brilla. A Ruby le encanta acurrucarse en regazos por las noches y disfruta felizmente de largas sesiones de caricias. Ella forma fuertes vínculos y ya ha comenzado a dormir en la cama cerca de su persona una vez que se sienta segura. Sería mejor en un hogar tranquilo con adoptantes pacientes que le permitan adaptarse a su propio ritmo. Con el tiempo y la bondad, Ruby se convierte en un compañero muy leal y amoroso". Así que estamos buscando un hogar muy tranquilo para Ruby. Ella se ocultará cuando llegue por primera vez, pero con el tiempo la recompensará con ronroneos. * NOW IN HER FOREVER HOME….. FINGERS CROSSED!* Ruby is an 8 year old Siamese. Having had a poor start to her life she came into rescue scared and traumatised. She spent some time hiding in our main cattery when we got the chance of a foster home where we could see if she was able to cope with everyday life. It has taken time and a lot of patience but after 2 months we believe Ruby could be rehomed. This is what her foster mum said about Ruby: “Ruby is a gentle, sensitive girl who has made lovely progress in a calm home environment. She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe her affectionate side shines. Ruby loves curling up on laps in the evenings and happily enjoys long petting sessions. She forms strong bonds and has even started sleeping on the bed near her person once she feels secure. She would do best in a quiet home with patient adopters who will let her settle at her own pace. With time and kindness, Ruby becomes a very loyal and loving companion” So we are looking for a very quiet home for Ruby. She will hide when she first arrives, but with time will reward with purrs.
