Atualização 3.10.2025: Selena ainda está aqui e não tem um lar próprio. Aqui ela está com seu amigo Azor. Atualização 28.4.2025: Selena precisa de um bom lar! Ela merece isso. Ela se beneficiaria de fazer um curso de escola para cães, como o curso de cão de truques... Selena é oficialmente o último membro da sua família ainda no abrigo. Todos os 9 filhotes dela encontraram lares amorosos e, embora isso nos deixe muito felizes, nosso coração quebra por nossa linda Selena. Ela está esperando desde 2022 (!) Selena adora brincar e correr com seu melhor amigo Carlos, tomar cochilos ao sol e receber todos os carinhos e guloseimas que puder. Ela aprende rapidamente e seu amor por comida a torna fácil de treinar. Selena é incrivelmente inteligente e precisa de estimulação física e mental. A vida em um abrigo simplesmente não pode oferecer isso! Selena é uma garota forte e confiante que sabe o que quer. Ela tem um grande coração e um espírito corajoso – e ela o possui! Cheia de personalidade, com um toque de atitude, e é exatamente por isso que a amamos! Agora ela está procurando um lugar para chamar de lar, onde ela possa se enroscar em uma cama aconchegante ao lado de alguém que a ame. Será você? Por favor, não ignore mais Selena doce! Desde que chegou ao abrigo em maio de 2022 - grávida e prestes a dar à luz a nove filhotes - ela evoluiu muito. Não dá pra não se apaixonar por essa garota! Selena é incrivelmente inteligente e é doloroso ver seu potencial sendo desperdiçado aqui. Ela fica tão animada com guloseimas, atenção e seu tempo de brincadeira no quintal. Seus giros felizes e seus "zoomies" são as coisas mais saudáveis que você já viu. Atualização 15.12.2023: Conheça Selena, o ápice de resiliência e beleza. Abandonada, essa cadela marrom clara se transformou em uma visão de força e graça. Seu pelo, agora brilhante, conta uma história de sobrevivência e nova radiância. Selena, com olhos que refletem uma mistura de sabedoria e gratidão, caminha com um novo espírito. Apesar de seus passados dificuldades, ela se comporta com elegância e um toque de brincadeira. Sua história: Selena foi recolhida magra e grávida na beira da estrada em maio de 2022. Não era visível a olho nu QUÃO grávida ela estava até dois dias depois ela nos surpreendeu. Na noite seguinte, Selena deu à luz a nove bebês, seus "núcleos", como nós os chamamos. Selena é um cão grande com uma característica muito boa e única. Ela é uma garota divertida que se apega muito às pessoas e faz as danças mais fofas quando é hora da comida ou ela está empolgada com algo. Às vezes ela pode ficar um pouco muito empolgada e, como ela é fisicamente forte, ela precisa de pessoas capazes de lidar com um cão do seu tamanho. Selena é muito brincalhona e social com outros cães. Selena pode ser bastante dominante e precisa que outros cães entendam e gostem de seu jeito físico de brincar. Selena é a mãe de Cashew, Peanut, Chestnut, Hazelnut, Butternut, Brazil, Pistachio, Pecan e Coconut.

A super affectionate and funny girl. She does the most adorable dances when she gets excited – which is mostly at the sight of food or her dear playtime in the yard. Selena is a dominant girl who prefers a confident male around (or to be the only dog in the household). Here she is with her friend Azor. Update April 2025: Selena needs a good home! She deserves it. She would profit from doing some dog school course like trick dog. Selena is now officially the last member of her family still at the shelter. All 9 of her babies have found loving homes and while that makes us really happy, our hearts break for our beautiful Selena. She’s been waiting since 2022 (!) Selena loves playing and running with her best friend Carlos, napping in the sun and getting all the pets and treats she can get. She learns quickly and her love of food makes her easy to train. Selena is incredibly intelligent and needs both physical and mental enrichment. Shelter life simply can’t offer that! Selena is a strong, confident girl who knows what she wants. She’s got a big heart and a bold spirit – and she owns it! Full of character, with just a touch of sass and that’s exactly why we love her! Now she’s looking for a place to call home, where she can curl up in a cozy bed beside someone who loves her. Could that someone be you? Please don’t overlook sweet Selena any longer! Since arriving at the shelter in May 2022 – pregnant and soon giving birth to nine babies – she’s come a long way. You can’t help but fall in love with this girl! Selena is incredibly smart and it’s painful to see her potential go to waste here. She gets so excited about treats, attention and her playtime in the yard. Update December 2023: She's a funny girl who is very attached to people and does the cutest little dances when it's time for food or she's excited about something. She can get a bit overexcited sometimes though and because she's physically strong she needs people capable to handle a dog her size. Selena's very playful and social with other dogs. Selena can be a quite dominant and needs other dogs to understand and like her physical way of playing. Selena is the momma of Cashew, Peanut, Chestnut, Hazelnut, Butternut, Brazil, Pistachio, Pecan and Coconut. Update September 2022: Selena was picked up underweight and pregnant from the side of the road in May 2022. It wasn't visible to the naked eye HOW pregnant she was until two days later she had a surprise in store for us. Overnight Selena had given birth to nine little babies, her nuts, as we call them. Selena is a large dog with a wonderful and unique character.
