Meet Toadette, the happy and affectionate Staffordshire Bull Terrier! She is very social and adores spending time with people, along with a good game of tug with her favourite toys. Toadette found kennels stressful, and she underwent surgery on her back leg, so she was placed in a foster home to recover. Since on foster she settled really well and is a calm dog at home, including building up to spending short period alone with no issues. She would suit committed first-time Staffordshire Bull Terrier owners or with some previous dog experience who can continue building her confidence and rewarding calm behaviours as she settles into her new home. Toadette has shown lovely social skills with both male and female dogs and could happily live with a well-matched canine companion following successful introductions. As she came into our care as a stray, we don’t know her history around cats or small animals, so she is looking for a home without them. Due to her enthusiastic nature and tendency to jump up when excited, Toadette is looking for a home with sensible school-aged children or older. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will happily join you on adventures before curling up for cuddles at the end of the day, Toadette could be the perfect addition to your family. With patience, routine and plenty of positive reinforcement, she’s ready to leave kennel life behind and become a much-loved member of her forever home.
