Tyson era um menino energético, alegre e sociável... Tyson tem 11 anos. Agora, depois de 7 anos no abrigo, Tyson está se tornando apenas uma sombra do seu antigo eu divertido. Desde 15.11.2025 Tyson quase não consegue andar. Em outubro de 2025, ele começou a ter problemas nas patas traseiras, não se levantava com a motivação que costumava ter quando finalmente era hora da sua única caminhada semanal, já que ele mora na área de trás do abrigo, onde os cães têm apenas uma caminhada por semana. As coxas e as patas traseiras começaram a ficar um pouco cansadas, ele anda arrastando-as um pouco. Quando o visitamos, o traumatologista diagnosticou Tyson com discendopatia e displasia da quadril, o que por si só não precisa ser um grande problema. Mas agora, com o tempo úmido e 7 anos nos pisos de cimento, falta de movimento, falta de conforto - Tyson mal consegue se levantar mais, e seu medicamento para dor já está no nível mais alto permitido. Para Tyson, estamos procurando urgentemente por um acolhimento de recuperação de emergência, com uma pessoa que tenha tempo e paciência para levá-lo em curtas caminhadas para fazer xixi e cocô, aliviar sua dor óssea com terapia de garrafas quentes, dar-lhe seus medicamentos, massagens suaves e permitir que ele repouse e se recupere enquanto consultamos os traumatologistas. Tyson é um bom menino, ele é gentil e dócil com as pessoas, e não faz nenhum problema. Ele está buscando um lar/abrigado sem outros animais, especialmente agora que está com tanta dor, para poder se recuperar em paz e ainda ter a sensação de um lar amoroso, um lembrete de uma vida que ele poderia ter tido, durante todos esses 7 anos que passou no abrigo. Assim, quando ele atravessar a ponte arco-íris, ele saberá que foi amado e cuidado. Talvez um lar no final ajude com a tristeza dos 7 anos solitários.

Tyson used to be an energetic, cheerful, and sociable boy.... Tyson is 11 years old. Now, after 7 years in the shelter, Tyson is becoming just a shadow of his former fun-loving self. As of 15.11.2025 Tyson is almost unable to walk. In October 2025, he started getting bad on his back legs, not getting up with the motivation that he used to get up when it was finally time for his one weekly walk, as he lives in the back area of the shelter, where the dogs have only 1 walk a week. The hips and back legs started to be a bit tired, he has been dragging them around a bit. Once we visited the traumatologist, Tyson was diagnosed with discendopolosis and hip dysplasia, which in itself do not have to be such a big deal. But now, with the damp weather and 7 years on cement floors, lack of movement, lack of comfort - Tyson can barely get up any more, and his medication for pain is already on the highest level allowed. For Tyson we are urgently looking for an emergency recovery foster, with a human who will have the time and patience to take him on short mini walks for pee & poo, relieve his bone pain with warm bottle therapy, give him his medications, gentle massages and allow him to rest and recover while we consult with traumatologists. Tyson is a lovely boy, he is kind and gentle with humans, and he makes no trouble at all. He is looking for a home/foster without other animals, especially now that he is in such pain, so he could recover in peace and have still a feeling of a loving home, a memory of a life he could have had, all these 7 years he spent in the shelter. So once he crosses the rainbow bridge, he would know that he was loved and cared for. Maybe a home in the end will help with the sorrow of 7 lonely years.
