Zeus é um dos casos mais especiais que temos no abrigo. Ele foi retirado de uma situação terrível de vida, tendo sido criado e "treinado" para lutas caninas. Isso determina tristemente uma coisa muito importante para o resto da sua vida - Zeus não pode conviver com nenhum outro cão nesta vida. Na sua vida anterior, ele foi maltratado até um nível profundo de consciência, que nunca o deixará mais - ver outro cão significa para ele "matar ou ser morto". Ver outros cães o estressa muito, e para a felicidade dele nos últimos anos de vida, estamos procurando um humano muito responsável para ele, que leve isso com 120% de seriedade. Agora, sobre os lados bonitos de Zeus: ele ama muito os seus voluntários favoritos e gosta de passar todos os momentos possíveis com eles - seja para caminhadas, acompanhando seu cuidador do abrigo até a garagem e em viagens de carro, e simplesmente relaxando no sofá. Zeus teve um início tão horrível de vida, que na segunda metade da sua vida, os voluntários tentam torná-la o mais agradável possível em um ambiente de abrigo. A cada semana, Zeus tem uma sessão de massagem canina com um especialista em massagem para cães e deixa você tocar todo o seu corpo sem drama! se o estimular um pouco, ele também se torna brincalhão e convida você para uma pequena luta! Cuidado porém, seu nariz é tão longo que ele bate fácil em você! Zeus passou tanto tempo no abrigo e esperamos que haja uma luz no fim do túnel para ele, uma casa que o aceite com suas bagagens - um passado que ele mesmo não escolheu, um passado em que ele foi vítima. Quando ele chegou ao abrigo, estava extremamente subnutrido e havia sido envenenado, seu arrival foi um dos piores casos que nosso abrigo já viu. Agora Zeus está saudável e foi verificado por vários veterinários - seus exames de sangue estão bons, sua mobilidade é boa, pele, olhos, ouvidos - ele é um senhor bully saudável! Zeus is one of the more special cases that we have in the shelter. He was taken away from a terrible scenario of life, having been bred and "trained" for dogfighting. This very sadly determines one very important thing for the rest of his life - Zeus cannot be together with ANY other dog in this lifetime anymore. In his previous life, he was abused to such a deep level of consciousness, that this will never leave him anymore - seeing another dog means for him "kill or be killed". Seeing other dogs really stresses him massively, and for his happiness in the last years of his life, we are looking for a very responsible human for him, who takes this with 120% seriousness. Now, to the beautiful sides of Zeus: he loves his favourite volunteers very much and enjoys spending all possible moments with them - either for walking, accompanying his shelter caretaker to the garage and on car drives, and simply chilling on the sofa. Zeus had such a horrific start to his life, that now on the second half of his life, our volunteers try to make it as nice for him as possible in a shelter environment. Every week Zeus is enjoying a dog massage treatment by a K9 massage specialist, and he let's you touch him all over his body without drama! If you motivate him a bit, then he also gets playful and invites you for a little wrestle! Careful though, his nose is so long that he bounces into you easily! Zeus has spent such a long time in the shelter and we are hoping that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for him, a home that accepts him with his baggage - a past that he himself did not choose, a past where he was a victim. When he arrived to the shelter, he was extremely underweight and he had been poisoned, his arrival was one of the worst cases that our shelter has seen. Now Zeus is healthy and checked by several veterinaries - his blood tests are good, his mobility is good, skin, eyes, ears - he is a healthy senior bully! Zeus weighs about 16kilos and is only about 35cm high.
