Actualizare 19.12.2024: Ai cunoscut pe KANELLOS? A fost un adevărat celebru pe străzile Chaniei. E adevărat! Kanellos are sigur multe povești de spus din toate aventurile pe care le-a trăit. Dar viața de pe străzi nu e o glumă, în special pentru bătrâni! Acum a renunțat la muncă ca șef al străzilor, Kanellos visul să devină un blând încet. După ce a petrecut câteva luni într-un cuib de privat, a ajuns final la adăpost în octombrie acest an. Ne sperăm că nu va rămâne prea mult. Vezi, Kanellos este un bătrân blând care vrea doar să se încurce lângă tine. O viață liniștită, simplă, plină de toată căldura și dragostea pe care o poate primi. Vă rugăm să considerați adoptarea unui câine bătrân. Vă rugăm să considerați adoptarea lui Kanellos, astfel încât el să poată profita în sfârșit de securitatea unei case iubitoare pe care a așteptat toată viața. Fii parte din proiect. Adoptă-l pe Kanellos astăzi! Proiectul Adăpostului Souda Actualizare 3.12.2022: Să nu uităm pe Kanellos. Kanellos a mers pe străzile Chaniei și era cunoscut mai mult decât primarul. El era câinele alpha. Alpha al orașului. O noapte s-a implicat într-o luptă cu un câine ținut de casă, mai mic decât el. Se spunea că proprietarii vor reveni aceeași seară să-l elimine pe Kanellos. Nu am putut lăsa asta să se întâmple. Eu personal eram un mare fan al lui, viața mea în Chania, de la prima dată când l-am întâlnit pe stradă. Deci l-am luat și de atunci trăiește într-un cuib de privat. Mănâncă BARF. Are propriile sale locuințe interioare și exterioare, dar tot nu reprezintă o casă. Nu trebuie să menționez nici costurile de a-l avea acolo este complet irațional pentru bugetul nostru. Trebuie să-i dăm lui Kanellos o casă. E timpul ca acest frumos să înceapă noua sa viață. Într-o casă, pe un canapea. Este un bătrân. șapte plus. Deși a fost un tip dur pe străzi, a devenit blând sub îngrijirea personală. Alte animale nu-l afectează prea mult. Deschide-ți inima pentru Kanellos, cel mai cunoscut câine care a mers pe străzile Chaniei. Uita-te la unele dintre cele mai frumoase fotografii ale lui pe străzi aici: Actualizare 28 noiembrie 2022: Recent, am făcut câteva fotografii noi ale lui Kanellos jucându-se cu un jucăruș plastic - distrează-te! Povestea lui: Kanellos a fost rănit ieri-noapte, dar nu grav. Am trebuit să-l luăm de pe stradă deoarece viața lui era în pericol. Acum este într-un cuib până când vom putea fixa un pen pentru el să stea în siguranță la adăpost. Probabil e supărat pe mine, dar prefer să fie supărat și viu decât mort. Costul cuibului. Oricine este interesat de adoptarea lui Kanellos ar trebui să știe următoarele: Nu e bun cu pisicile. Este cel mai potrivit ca un singur câine sau cu o femeie mare. Este un bătrân, așa că va avea unele probleme geriatrice care le vom descoperi în săptămânile următoare (cum ar fi artroza piciorului spate). Vă rugăm să-l considerați. Atâția ani la mila comunității: furioși, fericiți, beți, frustrați, iubiți, indiferenți... probabil ar putea scrie o carte. Aș dori să-l iau acasă. Vrei să știi, am o relație de dragoste cu Kanello, fără să știe el. Mă îndrăgostesc ca o colegială când-l văd și mă supăr ca un copil când atenția lui se îndreaptă altundeva și școală de la mine. Aș dori să-l iau acasă, dar nu e bun cu pisicile. Și eu am atâtea. Kanello are nevoie de o casă. Corpul lui e epuizat, picioarele lui sunt obosite. Sigur se va îmbunătăți odată ce este îngrijit și iubit, dar dacă rămâne pe străzi nu-l văd să dureze mult mai mult. Kanello are peste opt ani, este bătrân. Dacă sunteți interesat și treceti de așteptările noastre, îl vom colecta, îl vom duce imediat la veterinar pentru analize și un examen complet. Vom aduce vaccinările la zi. A fost sterilizat de către Municipality. Va avea nevoie de un posesor experimentat. Kanello are nevoie de o casă. Actualizare 19.12.2024: Kanello este un câine fără casă cunoscut în orașul Chania. Este mare și curajos și îi place să participe la adunări, proteste și parazi. Anul acesta, precum și anul trecut, a participat la cursa anuală Santa Run. Dacă sunteți interesat de adoptarea lui, vă rugăm să ne spuneți. Desigur este frumos să-l vezi participând la astfel de evenimente, dar ar fi și mai frumos să-l vezi pe un canapea într-o casă caldă. Description/Updates/Pictures: Update December 2024: Have you met our Kanellos? He used to be quite the celebrity on the streets of Chania. It’s true! Kanellos surely has many stories to tell from all the adventures he’s had. But life on the streets is no joke, especially for the oldies! Now retired from his job as chief of the streets, Kanellos dreams of becoming a full-time softie. After spending some time in a private kennel, he finally arrived at the shelter this October. We’re hoping he won’t stay too long. You see, our Kanellos is a gentle senior who wants nothing more than to curl up next to you. A quiet, simple life, filled with all the warmth and love he can get. Please consider adopting a senior dog. Please consider adopting our Kanellos, so he can finally enjoy the safety of a loving home he has waited for all his life. Update October 2024: After spending quite some time at Christos Kennels in Nerokourou Kanello has now moved in with us. Today was his first day and although I was worried that he would be stressed, the opposite, he made himself right at home. I just left him now early evening, and he has already made his way up onto his new bed. Update December 2022: Let’s not forget Kanellos. Kanellos roamed the streets of Chania and was better known than the mayor himself. He was alpha dog. Alpha of the town. One night he got into a scuff with an owned dog, much smaller his size. Rumor had it that the owners would be back that evening to get rid of Kanellos. We could not let that happen. We had him picked up and since that time he has been living in a private kennel. He eats BARF. He has his own inside outside living quarters but that still does not amount to a home. Not to mention the cost of having him there is completely irrational to our budget. We have to get Kanellos a home. It’s time this beauty begins his new life. In a home, on a couch. He is an older gentleman. Seven plus. Although he was a tough guy on the streets he has become a softy under personal care. Other animals don’t phase him much. And he is fully sociable with people, just imagine how many he had to deal with in one day. We do prefer he live in a single animal home, just because of his age and the life he has led till now. He plays catch, he wants belly rubs, he is deserving of a home. Be that home. Open your heart to Kanellos, the most famous dog to walk the streets of Chania Update December 2022: Recently, we made some new photos of Kanellos playing with a plastic toy – enjoy! Update March 2022: Kanellos was hurt last night but not seriously. We had to take him off the street because his life was in danger. He is now in a kennel till we can fix a pen for him to stay in safely at the shelter. The kennel costs. So does fixing the pen. Please consider donating to our cause, or at least to Kanello’s cause. He is so worth it! Anyone interested in adopting Kanello should know the following: He is not good with cats. He is best as a single dog or with a large female. He is a senior so he will have some geriatric issues which we will uncover in the next weeks (like back leg arthritis). Please consider him. A more colorful character you surely have never met. He’s practically human. Update January 2022: Kanellos. Kanello. Kanellino. The most colorful stray to roam the streets of Chania. He is the chief. He is a softy. He has a sense of humor. He can be very serious. He is tired. So many years at the mercy of the community: the angry, the happy, the drunk, the frustrated, the loving, the indifferent…he could probably write a book. His body is worn, his legs are tired. For sure he will spring back to life once pampered and loved but if he stays on the street I don’t see him lasting much longer. Kanello is over eight years of age, he is a senior. If you are interested and you pass our expectations we will collect him, take him straight to the vet for bloodwork and a thorough check up. We will bring his vaccinations up-to-date. He has been castrated by the Municipality. He will need an experienced dog owner. Update December 2019: Kanello is a famous stray in Chania town. He is big and bold and LOVES gatherings, protests and parades. This year, like every year he participated in the annual Santa Run. If you’re interested in adopting him please let us know. Of course it’s nice to see him participate in such events but it would be even nicer to see him on someone’s couch in someone’s warm home.
