Layla caută o casă doar cu adulți. Ea ar dori să fie singurul câine din casă, dar ar putea trăi cu pisici sau animale mici, deși nu avem istoric privind comportamentul ei față de astfel de animale. Layla este o domnișoară drăguță și afectuoasă care are un costum adevărat jucăuș și pufoș! A fost o plăcere să petrecem timp cu ea în timp ce era în adăpost și face prieteni rapid cu toată lumea pe care o întâlnește! Layla are unele obiceiuri care vor necesita antrenament și management continuu. Într-o casă anterioară a evidențiat anumite pofte de posesie asupra jucăriilor și a arătat și reactivitate față de alți cai. Va avea nevoie de stăpâni experimentați care sunt confidenți în gestionarea acestor comportamente și implementarea unui plan de antrenament pentru a o ajuta să învețe comportamente mai potrivite. Va avea nevoie de plimbări în zone pufoase / la ore pufoase în timp ce lucrează la acestea. A acceptat bine antrenamentul și suntem siguri că, cu răbdarea și angajamentul unei familii potrivite, va continua să facă bine. Layla este foarte amuzantă și adesea ne face să râdem cu modul ei pufoș. Nu avem niciun dubiu că va fi o adiție minunată pentru o familie potrivită care îi poate oferi angajamentul și constanța de care are nevoie. Layla a cerut tratament pentru anumite probleme medicale în timpul îngrijirii noastre, inclusiv convulsii pentru care are nevoie de medicatie continuă. Orice posibili rehazatori trebuie să știe că acestea vor fi considerate condiții preexistente și, prin urmare, nu acoperite de asigurarea pentru animale. Layla is looking for an adult-only home. She would like to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats or small animals, although we have no history of her behaviour around such animals. Layla is a sweet and affectionate little lady who has a real playful and daft side! She’s been a pleasure to spend time with whilst here at the shelter and quickly makes friends with everyone she meets! Layla does have some quirks which she will require ongoing training and management for. In a previous home she did show some possessiveness over toys and she has also shown reactivity towards other dogs. She will need experienced owners who are confident managing these behaviours and implementing a training plan to help her learn more appropriate behaviours. She will require walks in quiet areas / at quiet times of day whilst she is working on this. She has taken well to training and we are sure that, with the patience and commitment of the right family, she will continue to do well. Layla is so much fun to be around and often has us laughing with her daft ways. We have no doubt she will make a wonderful addition to the right family who can offer her the commitment and consistency she needs. Layla has required treatment for some medical issues whilst in our care, including seizures which she requires ongoing medication for. Any potential rehomers should be aware that these will likely be classed as a pre-existing condition and therefore not covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Layla’s veterinary history in further detail with any successful applicants.
