Olive este un câine de 18 luni, croază Border Collie. A fost salvată din casa ei după ce un vecin a observat că proprietarul mascul a abuzat de ea, acesta este acum în proces penal. A fost în cuibării de la decembrie 2025. În mod justificat, Olive poate fi îngrijorată atunci când întâlnește pentru prima dată oameni noi, dar cu timpul face prieteni rapid. Ea va avea nevoie de un stăpân care înțelege trecutul ei traumatic și va avea răbdarea să o ajute să-și recâștige încrederea și să i se ofere dragostea pe care o merita. Uneori bătăia alte câini, dar atunci când este în contact strâns interacționează ok deși nu știe prea bine cum să se comporte. Ne-a fost spus că a trăit cu un alt câine. Jucău-se cu jucării și răspunde la comenzile de bază. Olive are dificultăți într-un mediu aglomerat și se stimulează ușor, în cuibării, ea va ragg frecvent coarda și uneori hainele angajaților, dar odată departe de cuibării se calmează rapid. As you may have noticed this lovely girl is not, in fact, a Border Collie. She somehow made the journey over from Ireland and into our rescue before anyone asked too many questions, so now we’re simply rolling with it!She came into our care from another rescue after being given up from her previous home, where she was reportedly a little bossy with the other dog in the house and could guard her toys. She later spent time in foster care and was said to be very good with the children there but did snap at the grandmother.Since arriving with us, she has been a little shy meeting people but quickly warmed up to staff and happily sought affection and attention. She has also walked nicely alongside another dog and is settling into kennel life well.She did spend one night in a home but was returned as the following morning when she was out in the garden she snapped at the female owners arm causing a tooth scrape and also tore a small hole in her top.We think she would suit a home that can give her clear boundaries, patience, and time to settle. She’s a sweet little character with lots of potential and we’re sure there’s someone out there willing to forgive her for not being a Border Collie!HOMING FEE £300
