Olive är en 18 månader gammal Border Collie Cross. Hon räddades från sitt hem efter att en granne såg den manliga ägaren misshandla henne, han åtalas nu. Hon har varit i katter sedan december 2025. Förståeligtvis kan Olive bli orolig vid första mötet med nya människor men får snabbt vänner. Hon behöver en ägare som förstår hennes traumatiska historia och har tålamod för att hjälpa henne att vinna tillit och erbjuda henne kärlek hon förtjänar. Hon brukar ibland bälla mot andra hundar men när hon är nära interagerar det okej även om hon inte riktigt vet hur hon ska bete sig. Vi har fått veta att hon har levt med en annan hund. Hon spelar med leksaker och lyder grundläggande kommandon. Olive har svårt i en trivsamm miljö och stimuleras lätt, i katter kommer hon ofta att dra i ledet och ibland kläderna på personalen men när hon är borta från katterna lugnar hon sig snabbt. Hon kräver ett stilla hem utan småbarn. HOMING FEE £250

As you may have noticed this lovely girl is not, in fact, a Border Collie. She somehow made the journey over from Ireland and into our rescue before anyone asked too many questions, so now we’re simply rolling with it!She came into our care from another rescue after being given up from her previous home, where she was reportedly a little bossy with the other dog in the house and could guard her toys. She later spent time in foster care and was said to be very good with the children there but did snap at the grandmother.Since arriving with us, she has been a little shy meeting people but quickly warmed up to staff and happily sought affection and attention. She has also walked nicely alongside another dog and is settling into kennel life well.She did spend one night in a home but was returned as the following morning when she was out in the garden she snapped at the female owners arm causing a tooth scrape and also tore a small hole in her top.We think she would suit a home that can give her clear boundaries, patience, and time to settle. She’s a sweet little character with lots of potential and we’re sure there’s someone out there willing to forgive her for not being a Border Collie!HOMING FEE £300
