Acesta zâmbăreț isteț este Otis. A ajuns la adăpost ca cățeluș, împreună cu frații lui de cuib, și acum are 7 ani. Otis a avut până acum două familii, iar în ambele s-a întâmplat același lucru: treptat, în timp, Otis devine dominant față de oamenii lui, până acolo încât aceștia nu mai pot controla comportamentul lui. Din nefericire, el simte slăbiciunea și, fără reguli ferme și limite clare, preia el conducerea! La adăpost nu avem nicio problemă cu el. Cu noi este iubitor și se poartă foarte bine. Dar nu vrem ca viața lui să fie una în cușcă și suntem hotărâți să-i găsim o familie în care oamenii să înțeleagă că acest băiat minunat va lua o milă dacă i se dă un deget! Are nevoie de reguli și de rutină și de cineva care „vorbește limba câinilor”, ca să poată observa când testează limitele. Otis va fi un tovarăș fidel și minunat pentru persoana potrivită. Ideal, are nevoie de o casă doar cu adulți, și de preferat ca unic animal de companie, deoarece face cu alți câini același lucru pe care îl face cu oamenii. This cheeky smiler is Otis. He came in to the rescue as a puppy with his litter mates and is now 7 years old. Otis has had two homes so far and in both homes the same thing has happened; slowly over time Otis becomes dominant over his humans to the point they can’t control his behaviour any more. Unfortunately he senses weakness and without firm rules and boundaries he takes charge! We have no issues with him at the rescue. With us he is loving and behaves really well. But we don’t want his life to be a kennel and we are determined to find him a home where his humans understand that this lovely boy will take a mile if given an inch! He needs rules and routine and someone who ‘speaks dog’ so they will be able to see when he is testing boundaries. Otis will be a fantastic loyal companion to the right person. He needs an adult only home ideally as an only pet as he does the same thing with other dogs as he does with humans.
