Este simpático sonriente es Otis. Llegó al rescate siendo cachorro junto con sus hermanos de camada y ahora tiene 7 años. Otis ha tenido dos hogares hasta ahora, y en ambos ha ocurrido lo mismo: poco a poco, Otis se vuelve dominante sobre sus humanos, hasta el punto de que ya no pueden controlar su comportamiento. Por desgracia, él percibe la debilidad y, sin reglas firmes y límites claros, ¡toma el control! En el rescate no tenemos ningún problema con él. Con nosotros es cariñoso y se comporta muy bien. Pero no queremos que su vida sea la de una perrera, y estamos decididos a encontrarle un hogar donde sus humanos entiendan que este encantador chico se tomará una milla si le das una pulgada. Necesita reglas y rutina, y alguien que "hable perro", para poder reconocer cuando pone a prueba los límites. Otis será un compañero fiel y fantástico para la persona adecuada. Idealmente necesita un hogar solo con adultos y como única mascota, ya que hace con otros perros lo mismo que hace con las personas. This cheeky smiler is Otis. He came in to the rescue as a puppy with his litter mates and is now 7 years old. Otis has had two homes so far and in both homes the same thing has happened; slowly over time Otis becomes dominant over his humans to the point they can’t control his behaviour any more. Unfortunately he senses weakness and without firm rules and boundaries he takes charge! We have no issues with him at the rescue. With us he is loving and behaves really well. But we don’t want his life to be a kennel and we are determined to find him a home where his humans understand that this lovely boy will take a mile if given an inch! He needs rules and routine and someone who ‘speaks dog’ so they will be able to see when he is testing boundaries. Otis will be a fantastic loyal companion to the right person. He needs an adult only home ideally as an only pet as he does the same thing with other dogs as he does with humans.
