Dieser frech lächelnde ist Otis. Er kam als Welpe mit seinen Wurfgeschwistern in die Rettung und ist jetzt 7 Jahre alt. Otis hat bisher zwei Zuhause gehabt und in beiden Häusern ist dasselbe passiert; langsam über die Zeit wird Otis dominant gegenüber seinen Menschen, bis sie sein Verhalten nicht mehr kontrollieren können. Leider spürt er Schwäche und ohne feste Regeln und Grenzen übernimmt er die Führung! Wir haben keine Probleme mit ihm in der Rettung. Bei uns ist er lieb und verhält sich sehr gut. Aber wir wollen nicht, dass sein Leben ein Zwinger ist und wir sind entschlossen, ihm ein Zuhause zu finden, in dem seine Menschen verstehen, dass dieser nette Junge einen Schritt zurücklegt, wenn er einen Zoll gibt! Er braucht Regeln und Routine und jemanden, der „Hund versteht“, damit er weiß, wann er Grenzen testet. Otis wird ein fantastischer treuer Begleiter für die richtige Person sein. Er benötigt ein Erwachsenenhaus, idealerweise als Einzelhaustier, da er das gleiche tut wie andere Hunde und genauso wie Menschen. This cheeky smiler is Otis. He came in to the rescue as a puppy with his litter mates and is now 7 years old. Otis has had two homes so far and in both homes the same thing has happened; slowly over time Otis becomes dominant over his humans to the point they can’t control his behaviour any more. Unfortunately he senses weakness and without firm rules and boundaries he takes charge! We have no issues with him at the rescue. With us he is loving and behaves really well. But we don’t want his life to be a kennel and we are determined to find him a home where his humans understand that this lovely boy will take a mile if given an inch! He needs rules and routine and someone who ‘speaks dog’ so they will be able to see when he is testing boundaries. Otis will be a fantastic loyal companion to the right person. He needs an adult only home ideally as an only pet as he does the same thing with other dogs as he does with humans.
