Rex a ajuns la refugiu după ce a trăit cu o grupă de oameni fără adăpost care nu mai puteau îngriji pe el. Îl iubeau și doreau ceva mai bun, un loc sigur și stabil unde să se dezvolte. Având în mare parte viața lui pe străzi, Rex învață acum ce înseamnă să faci parte dintr-un mediu structurat. Este un băiat mare, frumos, cu un caracter puternic și un inimă chiar mai mare. Rex este foarte sociabil cu oamenii și îi place interacțiunea umană, deși poate fi puțin excesiv și sare în sus, lucrul pe care îl lucrăm activ cu el. În prezent, el urmează antrenament cu ajutorul unui antrenor de câini profesionist pentru a-l ajuta să se adapteze la o viață cu rutină, reguli și companie. Deși nu a fost bine socializat cu alți câini la pui, face progrese fantastice. Rex este inteligent, doritor să învețe și răspunde bine la ghidarea constantă. Rex came to the refuge after living with a group of homeless people who could no longer care for him. They loved him and wanted something better ,a safe, stable home where he could thrive. Having lived most of his life on the streets, Rex is now learning what it means to be part of a structured environment. He’s a large, handsome boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Rex is very sociable with people and loves human interaction, though he can get a bit overexcited and jump up something we’re actively working on with him. He’s currently undergoing training with the help of a professional dog trainer to help him adjust to a life of routine, rules, and companionship. While he wasn’t well socialised with other dogs as a puppy, he’s making fantastic progress. Rex is smart, eager to learn, and responds well to consistent guidance. We’re not yet sure how Rex is with children, so a home with adults or older teens may be most suitable while he continues his training. He’s also still adjusting to life in the kennel, which is very different from the freedom he’s known . Outside the kennel, he transforms. Give him space and time outdoors, and you’ll see his playful, loving nature shine through. Rex needs an experienced, patient adopter who’s willing to continue his training and support his transition into a more structured life. A home without small children and with space for him to stretch his legs would be ideal. In return, you’ll have a loyal, intelligent companion who’s learning how to love and be loved in return. Rex didn’t have the easiest start but with the right person, he has a bright future. Come meet him and see the progress he’s already made.
