Rex è arrivato al rifugio dopo aver vissuto con un gruppo di persone senza dimora che non potevano più prendersi cura di lui. Lui lo amavano e volevano qualcosa di meglio, una casa sicura e stabile dove poteva prosperare. Avendo vissuto gran parte della sua vita per strada, Rex sta ora imparando cosa significa essere parte di un ambiente strutturato. È un ragazzo grande e attraente con una personalità forte e un cuore ancora più grande. Rex è molto socievole con le persone e ama l'interazione umana, anche se può diventare un po' troppo eccitato e saltare su, stiamo lavorando attivamente su questo con lui. Al momento sta seguendo un addestramento con l'aiuto di un addestratore professionista per aiutarlo ad abituarsi a una vita di routine, regole e compagnia. Sebbene non fosse ben socializzato con altri cani da cucciolo, sta facendo ottime progressi. Rex è intelligente, desideroso di imparare e risponde bene a un'istruzione costante. Non siamo ancora sicuri di come Rex sia con i bambini, quindi una casa con adulti o adolescenti potrebbe essere più adatta mentre continua il suo addestramento. Sta ancora adattandosi alla vita in gabbia, che è molto diversa dalla libertà che conosceva. Fuori dalla gabbia, si trasforma. Dargli spazio e tempo all'esterno e vedrai la sua natura giocosa e amorosa emergere. Rex ha bisogno di un adottatore esperto e paziente disposto a continuare il suo addestramento e a supportare la sua transizione verso una vita più strutturata. Una casa senza bambini piccoli e con spazio per lui sarebbe ideale. In cambio, avrai un compagno fedele e intelligente che sta imparando a conoscere l'amore e a riceverlo in cambio. Rex non ha avuto un inizio facile ma con la persona giusta ha un futuro luminoso. Vieni a conoscerlo e vedi i progressi che ha già fatto.

Rex came to the refuge after living with a group of homeless people who could no longer care for him. They loved him and wanted something better ,a safe, stable home where he could thrive. Having lived most of his life on the streets, Rex is now learning what it means to be part of a structured environment. He’s a large, handsome boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Rex is very sociable with people and loves human interaction, though he can get a bit overexcited and jump up something we’re actively working on with him. He’s currently undergoing training with the help of a professional dog trainer to help him adjust to a life of routine, rules, and companionship. While he wasn’t well socialised with other dogs as a puppy, he’s making fantastic progress. Rex is smart, eager to learn, and responds well to consistent guidance. We’re not yet sure how Rex is with children, so a home with adults or older teens may be most suitable while he continues his training. He’s also still adjusting to life in the kennel, which is very different from the freedom he’s known . Outside the kennel, he transforms. Give him space and time outdoors, and you’ll see his playful, loving nature shine through. Rex needs an experienced, patient adopter who’s willing to continue his training and support his transition into a more structured life. A home without small children and with space for him to stretch his legs would be ideal. In return, you’ll have a loyal, intelligent companion who’s learning how to love and be loved in return. Rex didn’t have the easiest start but with the right person, he has a bright future. Come meet him and see the progress he’s already made.
